Selling used laptops and IT equipment

WeBuyLaptops.co.uk is a trading name of PYCO RENEW LTD, an IT asset disposal and recycling company based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The service offers quotes for used laptops and also lists desktops, servers, monitors, phones, tablets and networking equipment. Its website has separate routes for an individual laptop and for businesses with other equipment or larger quantities.

Quote, shipping and inspection

The process described on the site begins with a quote based on the device and its condition. The company provides a prepaid shipping label, then inspects the equipment before payment. It asks customers not to send laptops before obtaining a quote and shipping label. The business also advertises collection for suitable IT equipment enquiries; the arrangements depend on the item and quantity.

Data handling and contact

WeBuyLaptops describes a data-wiping process using WipeIt and says a certificate is available. Its website includes data-security information, terms and frequently asked questions alongside a contact form. The listed office is at Fieldhouse Industrial Estate in Rochdale. Phone and email support hours are shown separately from the online quote service, which the website says is available at any time.
