Northern Renewable Centre

Renewable energy installation from Redcar and Bathgate

Northern Renewable Centre presents itself as a supplier and installer of green energy systems for residential and commercial customers, describing itself as "the home of greener energy". The company states that it has worked on numerous commercial and residential projects in and around the North East, and it operates a showroom that visitors can drop into during weekday hours.

Its offer is built around lowering household energy costs, reducing exposure to energy price rises and increasing property value through solar panels and EV chargers, arguments the company sets out in its own presentation rather than as independently verified claims.

Solar PV and solar tracking

The core of the business is solar electric systems (Solar PV), which the company describes as producing low-cost, environmentally friendly electricity by converting sunlight into electricity without moving parts, noise, pollution or fuel. It also lists solar tracking systems, which rotate and change angle throughout the day to generate power from sunrise to sunset.

The company describes itself as a specialist in the installation of high-quality residential Solar PV and thermodynamic systems.

Battery storage and the Tesla Powerwall

Battery storage is offered as a way to keep the power required available whenever needed without relying on the costly electric grid. Within this line the company distributes the Tesla Powerwall, described as a compact home battery that stores energy generated by solar or drawn from the grid.

Heating, charging and other services

• Air source heat pumps, air source hot water cylinders and an air source heat pump service.
• EV chargers, ranging from small wall-mounted AC devices for home charging up to large free-standing DC chargers suitable for motorway service stations.
• Infrared radiators, presented as a modern heating solution delivering warmth through radiation.
• Air conditioning and commercial heating.

Grants, finance and quotations

The site devotes sections to ECO4 grants and to spreading the cost of Solar PV and battery storage systems through flexible finance options, aimed at customers who want to avoid the initial outlay of the investment. The company invites enquiries for a tailored solar package and states that its team provides an initial consultation and a free quotation.
