Webbs Motor Caravans

Used motorhome and caravan sales across Berkshire and Wiltshire

Webbs operates as a dealer of pre-owned motorhomes, caravans and van conversions, with two showrooms in southern England. The company presents itself as having over 30 years' experience and describes itself as one of the South's largest and most trusted dealers of high-quality motorhomes, caravans and van conversions. Its stock is second-hand, and the business also runs an online accessories shop under the name Webbs Outdoors.

Motorhomes in Reading and Salisbury

The motorhome side of the business offers a choice of quality pre-owned vehicles at both the Reading and Salisbury sites. The website lists sections for used motorhomes, new arrivals and vehicles arriving soon, alongside new motorhomes for sale. It also includes a route for owners wishing to sell their motorhome, with a free valuation request and the claim that there is a huge demand for pre-owned motorhomes.

Caravans at the Salisbury showroom

Caravans are handled from the Salisbury site, which the company presents as the go-to destination for expertly selected, quality, pre-owned caravans. As with motorhomes, the stock is used rather than new.

Brands represented

The site's featured brands for motorhomes are Ace, Auto-Sleeper, Auto-Trail, Bailey, Bessacarr, Swift, Rimor and Knaus. For caravans, the quick links highlight Swift Caravans and Bailey Caravans, and the same two brands appear in the caravan section of the navigation.

Aftersales, parts and finance

Beyond sales, Webbs maintains an aftersales operation that includes a service centre with a published service menu and online booking for a service. There is also a parts enquiry channel, information on motorhome warranty, and a section for accessories. Finance is offered as part of the buying process. The company states that Webbs Motorcaravans Ltd and Webbs Caravans Ltd are authorised by the FCA with limited permission to conduct certain credit-related activity, that it acts as a credit broker introducing customers to a limited number of lenders, and that it may receive commission or other benefits for such introductions.

Webbs Outdoors

Webbs Outdoors is the company's online shop for outdoor accessories covering motorhome, caravan and camping needs. The site also carries a blog and a news and events section, and references the Camping & Caravanning Club.
