Mud Daddy

Cleaning up away from a tap

Mud Daddy sells portable washing devices for cleaning muddy dogs, boots, bicycles and outdoor equipment. Its original manual products are designed to work without mains electricity or a battery, so they can be taken to a trailhead, stable or car park. The catalogue also includes hybrid models with a battery-assisted brush; check which design a product page describes before buying. The appeal is cleaning at the end of an outing, before mud reaches a car or home.

Choosing a washer and capacity

The website separates Original and Power+ ranges and lists models with different water capacities, including an 8-litre hybrid and a larger 20-litre WalkerPRO. A small unit may be easier to carry for one dog, while several dogs or a long day out may call for more water. Compare filled weight, hose length, brush type and whether the nozzle or brush is suitable for an animal’s coat. A manual device does not produce the pressure of a mains-powered washer, which may be a benefit around pets but changes what it can remove.

Bundles, parts and aftercare

Mud Daddy offers bundles, accessories and replacement parts, allowing a buyer to build a kit for dog walks or other outdoor tasks. Before choosing a bundle, check whether it includes the washer itself, brushes, towels or any separate cleaning products. The site lists a warranty and return policy, but conditions depend on the item and purchase. After use, empty and clean the reservoir and attachments according to the instructions, especially if the unit has been used around grit, salt water or pet shampoo.

Shopping and support

The UK storefront shows prices in pounds and a shipping charge for mainland UK, subject to the current checkout terms. It publishes a support email and social channels. A customer ordering for a trip should confirm stock, dispatch date and delivery destination rather than relying on a general banner. If using the washer for a horse, bike or vehicle, check the product guidance for recommended cleaning agents and surfaces. The right tool depends on the mess, available water and whether a battery-assisted model is practical.
