Obsidian PC: gaming systems built and supplied from Peterlee

Obsidian PC is a UK gaming PC and component supplier operating as Obsidian PCs Ltd from Unit 12 Wapping Park, Gresley Road, Peterlee SR8 2FD. The company presents its machines under the tagline "Built to Last" and sells both complete gaming systems and the parts that go into them. Its catalogue is organised around a tiered structure rather than a single product line, with separate routes for buyers working to a budget and those spending more.

How the gaming PC range is tiered

The main split is between the Pro Series, priced under £1,000, and the Ultra Series at £1,000 and above. A further collection groups prebuilt machines as Extreme at £2,000–3,000, Pro below £1,000 and Ultra between £1,000 and £2,000. The site also lists a refurbished line alongside new systems, and a deal-of-the-week collection sits within the broader catalogue.

One configuration shown on the site is the Stream V3, built around a Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 32GB of DDR5 6000 MT/s CL38 memory in two 16GB modules and an RTX 5070 12GB graphics card. At the time of writing this profile it was listed at £1,999, reduced from £2,199, with the page indicating that 83% of the allocation had been claimed.

Setup bundles and component sales

Beyond the PC alone, Obsidian PC offers full setup bundles that combine a system with a display and peripherals, aimed at buyers who want a complete arrangement in one order. Setup bundles are also divided into Pro (under £1,000) and Ultra (£1,000–£2,000) collections.

On the components side, the shop carries parts for buyers assembling or upgrading their own machines, including motherboard bundles. The catalogue separates components, motherboard bundles and software from the prebuilt systems, so a customer can buy either a finished build or the individual pieces.

Testing, repairs and support

The company states that each system passes through a series of tests to confirm it runs smoothly under full utilisation, describing this as part of its quality control. It also lists repairs and services among its offerings, alongside a knowledge hub of guidance content and a contact route for advice before purchase. Customer support is presented as one of the areas the business emphasises, together with component choice and build quality.

Shipping, finance and payment

Obsidian PC advertises free express shipping on all PC or setup orders with no minimum spend, framed around the idea of gaming the next day. Flexible payment options are referenced through a finance information page. The checkout accepts a broad set of payment methods, among them American Express, Apple Pay, Diners Club, Discover, Google Pay, Klarna, Maestro, Mastercard, PayPal, Shop Pay, Union Pay and Visa.

The storefront allows customers to switch between United Kingdom and Isle of Man regional settings, both priced in pounds sterling. The site notes that prices and specifications may change without notice and that system images are illustrative, with internal components and lighting depending on the specification chosen.
