Comicoin

Comicoin, an online comic shop run from Cornwall

Comicoin is an online retailer of comics and related collectibles that presents itself as the UK's premiere online comic shop. Its catalogue is organised around three broad areas: comics and books, trading card games (TCG) and merchandise. The shop states that it holds more than 40,000 comic books in stock and that it has delivered over 30,000 comics.

Comics and books in the catalogue

The comics section is divided into several formats and conditions. The store lists comic books, including copies that are bagged and boarded and others that have been graded, alongside variant covers and incentive covers. It also stocks graphic novels, manga, trade paperbacks and hardcovers, and carries supplies for collectors. Titles are grouped by publisher, so the catalogue can be browsed by editorial house as well as by format.

Trading cards and collectible games

The TCG area covers both sealed product and individual cards. Sealed stock is presented through booster packs, booster boxes, and boxes, tins and decks, together with accessories and supplies. Single cards are offered both raw and graded, and graded cards are organised by set. Among the lines named in the catalogue are Magic: The Gathering – Reality Fracture, Digimon Card Game: Chivalrous XIII (EX-13), Pokémon: 30th Celebration, Final Fantasy TCG: Blissful Eternity, Palworld: Dawn of Palpagos and Pokémon – Mega Evolution: Pitch Black.

Merchandise beyond comics

Beyond printed material and cards, Comicoin sells a merchandise line made up of accessories, keychains, kitchenware, pins and T-shirts. The shop also maintains sections for events and a blog, and offers a subscription for what it describes as exclusive access to behind-the-scenes insider knowledge and warehouse access.

The company gives two locations. The shop address is 21 Causewayhead, Penzance, Cornwall, TR18 2SP, with the telephone number +44 330 027 2443.
