Haus of Porsche

Independent Porsche specialist in Penarth, near Cardiff

Haus of Porsche is an independent Porsche specialist based in Penarth, just outside Cardiff. The business operates a showroom for used cars and a fully equipped service centre dedicated to the servicing, maintenance and care of Porsche vehicles, both classic and modern. It presents itself as South Wales' number one independent Porsche specialist, a claim that reflects its own positioning rather than an external ranking.

The company was originally established in 2019 as Ashley James Automotive and later rebranded to Haus of Porsche as its focus shifted increasingly towards the Porsche marque. The legal entity and the values behind the business remain the same. It was founded by Ashley, whose interest in cars began at a young age and who gained experience working in main dealer environments before setting up the business.

Used car sales and stock

The showroom holds a selection of quality used cars. The current stock listed on the site includes models from Abarth, Audi, Porsche, Volkswagen and Volvo, with a mix of automatic and manual transmissions and petrol and plug-in hybrid fuel types. The Porsche inventory shown at the time of writing comprised four vehicles. A section for previously sold cars is also maintained.

All vehicles come with a warranty as standard, with the option to upgrade to 6 or 12 months for added peace of mind. Most vehicles are ready to drive away the same day. Flexible finance options are available, and the business acts as a credit broker rather than a lender, working with a number of selected credit providers. All finance is subject to status and income, with a written quotation available on request.

Servicing and maintenance

Alongside sales, Haus of Porsche runs a specialist Porsche servicing operation and general car servicing. The workshop is described as fully equipped and dedicated exclusively to Porsche vehicles, offering expert knowledge and a personal approach that the business says sets it apart from main dealers. The team is led day to day by Robin, who oversees operations and manages the workshop technicians.

Customer experience and reputation

The business describes a no-pressure, pet-friendly atmosphere and welcomes customers bringing their dogs. It reports being rated 5-star on Trustpilot and Google, with over 100 5-star reviews on Google. A review widget on the site displayed a 5.0 rating from 54 reviews at the time of writing. Customer testimonials on the site mention staff members by name, including Ashley and Jake, and refer to help with vehicle selection, finance arrangements and aftercare.
