PaintOn Decorators

PaintOn Decorators: painting and decorating across Torbay and South Devon

PaintOn Decorators is a painting and decorating business based in Paignton, in the Torbay area, and works across Torbay and the surrounding towns. The company states that its coverage includes Paignton, Torquay, Brixham, Newton Abbot, Teignmouth, Dawlish and Dartmouth, and that it takes on projects further afield as well.

The firm is run by Andy Slough, who describes himself as a fully qualified NVQ Level 3 Painter & Decorator and dates the business to 2012. He presents the operation as built around a commitment to the client, from the first consultation through to the final brushstroke, with an emphasis on working cleanly, precisely and to schedule.

Range of properties and types of client

The company reports experience across a broad mix of buildings: listed buildings and period homes, industrial units, commercial spaces and residential properties. It positions itself for both high-end, luxury finishes and faster, cost-conscious refreshes, including work for rental properties. Jobs range, in its own description, from a single room to a full property transformation.

Both domestic and commercial clients are named as the two main audiences. The business also states that it adapts to affordable budgets, tight deadlines and flexible working hours in order to limit disruption while work is under way.

Decorating services

The services listed on the site cover the core of interior and exterior decorating together with a set of related preparation and repair tasks:

• Coving and plastering

Damp, condensation and mould

Alongside general decorating, the company gives separate treatment to damp, condensation and mould solutions, which appear as a distinct service line on the site rather than as an add-on to painting. Mould treatment is also listed among the decorating services.

How the business presents its reputation

PaintOn Decorators states that most of its work comes through recommendation and referral, which it attributes to a friendly, trustworthy and reliable approach. The site reports a rating of 4.6 from 21 reviews and refers readers to Trustpilot and to Google reviews for customer feedback. Individual testimonials published on the site describe punctuality, tidiness on site, daily clean-up and reliability, and mention repeat bookings.

Contact and quoting

The business invites enquiries about interior decorating, exterior decorating, damp and condensation solutions, or general help and advice, and says it provides quotes and guidance regardless of the size or stage of a project. Enquiries are handled through a contact form, by telephone or by email, and the site also offers a WhatsApp channel.
