Slips Away

Slips Away: anti-slip products for homes, businesses and industrial sites

Slips Away is a UK-based online shop specialising in anti-slip and floor-safety products. Its catalogue is organised around four main areas: mats, anti-slip tapes, decking and stair solutions, and floor signs and markers. The company presents itself as the "#1 seller of anti-slip products" for domestic, commercial and industrial buyers, and states that it supplies some of the UK's biggest brands.

Mats for entrances, industry and events

The matting range covers entrance mats, industrial mats, construction mats, ground protection, anti-fatigue mats, sports and leisure mats, catering mats and electrical safety mats. There are also drainage and wet-area mats, cut-to-size mats and carpet stair treads. A dedicated custom logo mat line includes a high-quality logo mat, a Berber logo mat, a rubber scraper logo mat, a heavy-duty promo scrape logo mat, a logo counter and bar mat, and an outdoor heavy-duty logo mat with drainage holes.

Anti-slip tapes in multiple grades

Anti-slip tape is offered in standard grade, pre-cut tiles, conformable, non-abrasive, waterproof Aqua, marine boat safety, mild abrasive, heavy-duty industrial, extra coarse, hazard, glow and rubberised grip versions. The shop also lists marking tape and a set of ancillaries for installation, including a roller presser, surface primer, water-based primer, edge fix sealer, squeegee, rubber mallet and keying agent.

Decking strips and stair nosings

For decking and stairs, the catalogue includes GRP decking strips, GRP stair nosings, GRP stair tread covers, aluminium stair nosings and aluminium anti-slip decking plates. The GRP range extends to industrial and warehouse applications with GRP mesh grating, flat sheet panels, tread covers, step-over platforms and waffle boards, alongside fixing clips for GRP grating installation.

Floor safety, marking and treatments

Floor signs and markers include aisle marking tape and warehouse floor signs and markers. The company also sells SafeGrip anti-slip floor treatment for tiles, stone, concrete and porcelain, and a chemical-resistant grade within its industrial matting line. Bathroom safety items such as non-slip bath stickers, non-slip bath mats, anti-slip shower strips and discs, and non-slip bath discs are grouped under home and bathroom.

Buying and delivery

The site lists bulk buying options and states free shipping on orders over £100 GBP. Prices shown in the catalogue range from £0.99 for non-slip decking strips to £86.99 for industrial-grade GRP mesh grating, with several products marked as discounted. The shop also publishes instructional videos and a blog alongside its product pages.
