CupsDirect

CupsDirect: wholesale food and drink packaging for catering and takeaway

CupsDirect operates an online wholesale business supplying food and drink packaging aimed at street food vendors, deli shops, cafés and pubs. Its catalogue is organised around disposable food service items, with a clear split between single-use, reusable and biodegradable or compostable formats. The range is presented as a direct supply channel for hospitality operators that need cups, containers and tableware in volume.

Cups and drinkware

The drinks side of the catalogue covers hot and cold formats. For hot drinks there are single-wall and double-wall paper cups, plus aqueous and compostable cups and a line of lids and accessories. The iced and smoothie section includes PET cups, a 98 mm diamond PET format, PET juice cups, soda and Coke cups, and water cups in both paper and plastic versions. Barware is served with rPET and PP beer cups, paper beer cups, and champagne and wine shots. Reusable eco coffee cups complete the drinks offer.

Food packaging and takeaway containers

Food packaging is grouped into containers, bakery items, trays and plates. Containers include meal boxes in kraft paper board, takeaway and microwavable formats, sandwich and sushi clamshells, and bagasse and paper bowls alongside soup bowls, ice cream and portion pots. The bakery range lists cake boxes and windowed food service boxes. Trays and plates span sushi trays, bagasse trays, kraft food trays, black food trays, newsprint food trays, aluminium foil trays and hot dog trays, with bagasse plates and kraft platter boxes.

Cutlery, wraps, napkins and janitorial lines

The catalogue also covers cutlery and utensils in paper and wood, and a straw range that includes paper, PLA, bubble tea and smoothie straws. Bags and wraps comprise paper handle bags, grab bags and food-to-go bags, plus greaseproof sheets, foils and cling films and food wrap. Napkins and towels are sold alongside a janitorial section with centre-feed roll, folded paper towel and toilet roll, and the napkin range is split into white and kraft options.

Compostable and fibre-based materials

A significant part of the range is built on plant-fibre and compostable materials. Bagasse, derived from sugarcane fibre, appears in trays, clamshell containers, plates and bowls, and the bagasse food tray range is described as a compostable, grease-resistant alternative to plastic available in shallow, regular and deep fill sizes. Pulp bowls and containers are offered with certified compostable bases and matching lids. The Winter Village double-wall cup range, exclusive to CupsDirect, uses an AQ water-based lining described as certified compostable and recyclable with paper and card.

Product formats and presentation

Several ranges are positioned around presentation as much as function. Kraft brown deli boxes use a windowed design and a grease-resistant interior coating for artisanal food retail, while black chicken and meal boxes and black clamshell burger boxes target a more premium look. The kraft clamshell burger box range comes in four sizes and is described as grease-resistant and recyclable. Ovenable lunch boxes are PET-lined and rated safe up to 220°C for 30 minutes, leak-resistant and microwave-safe, available with or without a window in three sizes. Kraft rectangular bento boxes and kraft square paper bowls in four capacities extend the takeaway container selection, and kraft mini rectangular side bowls in 165 ml and 265 ml come with a vented PP lid.

Branded packaging and customer rewards

Beyond standard lines, the site references branded packaging and product samples as dedicated sections, and a MyCupsDirect Rewards programme for customers. Customer creations are also showcased. The catalogue displays product ratings, with several ranges carrying scores between 4.0 and 5.0 from small numbers of reviews.
