Rattan Direct

Rattan Direct: garden furniture for contemporary outdoor living

Rattan Direct is an online retailer specialising in outdoor furniture for gardens. The company presents itself as a creator of furniture designed to enhance daily living in contemporary gardens, with collections that emphasise quality craftsmanship and forward-thinking design. Its catalogue is organised around dining sets, sofa sets and complementary accessories, and it sells directly to consumers through its website.

Dining sets for every garden layout

The dining range is the largest part of the catalogue. It includes garden dining sets in several configurations, from compact bistro sets to larger eight-seater arrangements. The sets are grouped by material and style: rattan dining sets, wooden dining sets, rope dining sets, metal dining sets and rattan cube sets. Within these groups, the site lists specific collections such as Barcelona, Riviera and Amelia. The Barcelona cube sets are available in four- and six-seater versions, with options including footstools and colour combinations such as brown and cream or black and vanilla. The Amelia wooden dining sets pair acacia tables with Shiro, Nala or Hali chairs, and some configurations include benches. The Riviera range includes a four-seater rattan set with a small round table.

Sofas, loungers and conversation sets

Beyond dining, Rattan Direct offers garden sofas and sofa sets in rattan, rope, wood and metal. The range includes corner sofa sets, conversation sets and sun loungers with side tables. Examples include the Eaden rope conversation set and the Thea wooden corner sofa set. The Miami sunloungers with a small square side table are listed in a chocolate mix finish. These products are presented as part of the same design-led approach as the dining collections.

Materials and product styles

The catalogue is structured around four main materials: rattan, wood, rope and metal. Each material has its own section, and the site allows customers to shop by material as well as by product type. This organisation extends to the dining and sofa ranges, where sets are labelled according to the primary material and style. The product names and descriptions indicate that the furniture is intended for outdoor use in gardens.

Accessories and garden storage

Alongside furniture, Rattan Direct sells accessories and parasols. The accessory range includes parasols and bases, garden furniture covers, garden accessories and garden storage. Some furniture sets are advertised as coming with a free furniture cover. These products are presented as add-ons to complete an outdoor setup.

Online shopping and delivery

Rattan Direct operates primarily as an online store. The website includes features such as a cart, secure checkout and order tracking. The company states that it offers free delivery on all orders. Payments accepted include American Express, Apple Pay, Mastercard, PayPal and Visa. The site also provides a help centre, contact information and sections on deliveries and returns.

Customer feedback and seasonal sales

The website displays customer product reviews with ratings. For example, the Barcelona six-seater cube set has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 24 reviews, and the Eaden rope conversation set has a rating of 4.9 out of 5 based on 130 reviews. These ratings are shown as part of the product listings. The site also runs seasonal promotions, such as an end-of-season sale with additional savings on selected Rattan Direct favourites for a limited time.
