TLX: refurbished phones, appliances and homeware sold online in the UK

TLX is a British online retailer that combines new and refurbished stock across consumer technology, domestic appliances and homeware. Its catalogue spans mobile phones, computing, televisions and audio, cameras and smart tech, fashion and beauty, home and garden, and sports and leisure. The store presents refurbishment as a way to lower prices while reducing electronic waste, and states that devices are refurbished by its UK team.

Phones and computing at the centre of the catalogue

Smartphones form the most visible part of the range, organised by brand and model. The Apple section lists iPhone 17, iPhone 16 and iPhone 14, while the Samsung section covers Galaxy S26, S26 Ultra, S25, Z Fold7, S24, A57 and A37. Google smartphones, basic phones and an all-smartphones category complete the mobile offering. Computing is divided into laptops, tablets, monitors, PC accessories, laptop accessories and tablet accessories, and there is a separate gaming section.

Televisions, audio and smart devices

The TV and audio department groups televisions by size — 30" to 39", 40" to 49" and more than 60" — alongside TV accessories. Audio covers headphones, soundbars and speakers and sound systems. Under smart tech, the store lists cameras, smartwatches and smart home devices.

Home, garden and everyday goods

Beyond electronics, TLX stocks domestic appliances such as coffee machines, heating, cooling and air purifiers, vacuum and steam cleaners, and other appliances. The homeware range includes bins, clocks and ornaments, furniture, kitchen and dining ware, lighting, soft furnishings, wall art and wallpaper. DIY and tools, garden equipment and nursery items appear as further categories, and the fashion and beauty section covers women's and men's clothing and shoes, bags, jewellery, hair dryers, personal care, well-being and face care.

Sports, leisure and car accessories

The sports and leisure department is organised around cycling and scooters, with bikes and bike parts and accessories, and motoring, with car accessories and sat navs. Camping and outdoors equipment is also listed. Individual products shown in the latest deals include dash-cam hardwiring kits, parking sensors, reversing camera kits, roof bars, memory cards, phone cases and a travel cargo bag.

Brands on offer

The store's brand directory names Apple, Samsung, Google, Motorola, Sony, John Lewis, Boardman, Sharp, Panasonic, Barbour, Dyson, Ninja and Shimano, among others.

Warranty, returns and delivery terms

TLX states that purchases come with a 12-month warranty, a 60-day returns policy and free UK delivery. It also advertises free returns and describes its refurbished devices as certified quality that looks and performs like new. The company presents savings against recommended retail prices across several categories, including up to 40% on iPhones, up to 75% on homeware, up to 50% on domestic appliances and up to 65% on computers and accessories; these figures reflect the offers displayed at the time of writing this profile.

Refurbishment and recycling

According to the company, it buys top-brand manufacturer returns and refurbishes them where necessary to a graded standard before resale. It also provides WEEE recycling information, framing the purchase of refurbished electricals as a way to cut e-waste. TLX describes its team as having more than 30 years of combined experience and refers to its customer service as five-star.
