Kitchen Square: professional-grade cookware for everyday cooking

Kitchen Square is a UK-based cookware store that presents itself as a curator of luxury, professional-grade kitchenware chosen for quality, reliability and lasting value. Its catalogue covers stainless steel, non-stick, enamelled cast iron, nitrided carbon steel and clay pots, alongside frying pans, saucepans, casseroles, stockpots, sauté pans, woks, detachable-handle cookware and cookware sets. The range is completed with bakeware, bowls, colanders, silicone and stainless steel utensils, and kitchen knives.

The retailer states that it is an authorised retailer for all the brands it carries, and frames its selection around a healthier, non-toxic lifestyle while keeping cooking accessible.

Brands in the Kitchen Square catalogue

The shop organises much of its offer by brand. Among the names listed are Saveur Selects, with enamelled cast iron, tri-ply stainless steel and non-stick pieces; Métier and Métier Toolbar; Minotedo; Samuel Groves; SNF; Kai Shun; Taylor's Eye Witness; Sabatier Professional; Shimoyama; and Procasa.

Two brand lines receive particular emphasis. Procasa is presented as a new, revolutionised carbon steel line, while Samuel Groves is described as a masterclass in British manufacturing, bringing over 200 years of Birmingham-born craftsmanship to the kitchen. The site also highlights the award-winning On & Off range and SNF Schneidteufel German kitchen knives.

Procasa appears with tri-ply stainless steel sauté pans, frying pans, chef pans and casseroles with glass lids, plus a pre-seasoned tri-ply carbon steel frying pan.

Métier Toolbar adds items such as a three-piece spout cookware set, a savoury cast iron wok with lid, a spout frying pan and a DOME tri-ply stainless steel wok with adjustable vent lid.

Recipes, events and cooking community

Beyond retail, Kitchen Square maintains a cooking community that shares recipes, tips and tricks, and publishes a blog. It also organises events: the site announced a Steak Night hosted by Totally Tangerine Cookery in collaboration with Macken Brothers Butchers and Kitchen Square, covering advice on choosing cuts, cooking steak and getting the most out of Procasa cookware, with live demonstrations. The programme is presented as a series of food-led gatherings, from steak nights to hands-on workshops.

The site also features a chef highlight on Baljinder 'Bee' Gill, known as The Authentic Punjabee, an award-winning cook, food writer and cookbook author recognised for sharing the flavours and traditions of authentic Punjabi cooking and author of Butter Chicken & Green Shield Stamps.
