Bossy Cat

Bossy Cat, an online retailer of pet supplies and home furniture

Bossy Cat is a British online shop that combines two catalogues under one brand: pet supplies and furniture for the home and garden. The company presents its range as stock held in the United Kingdom, with around 10,000 products listed and free delivery to the UK mainland, which the site states is handled in three to five working days. Its own description also stresses that no hidden fees apply.

The positioning is explicit in the way the catalogue is organised: the same store serves households buying cat trees, dog crates or chicken coops and households furnishing a living room, a bedroom or a garden. The site frames this as a single destination for "the pets who run the house, and the home they rule".

Pet supplies: cats, dogs, small animals, fish and poultry

The pet side of the catalogue is divided by animal type rather than by product family alone.

• Cats: cat trees, scratching posts, cat beds, cat houses, cat litter trays, and catios and cat runs.
• Dogs: dog beds, dog crates, dog kennels, dog run panels, dog steps and ramps, and dog grooming items.
• Small pets and fish: rabbit hutches, indoor rabbit cages, small animal cages, and aquariums and fish tanks.
• Birds and poultry: chicken coops, chicken coops with runs, bird cages and bird feeders.
• Pet accessories: pet carriers, pet gates, pet playpens and pet strollers.

Furniture for living room, dining room, bedroom and office

The furniture range is broad and organised room by room. For the living room, the store lists sofas and sofa beds, including L-shaped, two-seater and three-seater models and loveseats, alongside armchairs, accent chairs, footstools and benches. Recliners form a category of their own, with manual, riser, massage and wingback versions and recliners supplied with footstools.

Coffee and side tables are broken down by material and style, covering white, wooden, glass and rattan options, plus console tables and nest of tables. Living room storage includes TV units, sideboards, display cabinets, bookcases and shoe storage.

For dining and the kitchen, the catalogue covers dining tables and dining sets, with drop leaf, wooden, round and extendable tables, and dining chairs in wooden, fabric and leather finishes as well as dining benches. A home bar section groups bar stools, wine racks, drinks trolleys and wine coolers, while kitchen and utility items include kitchen bins, pull-out storage baskets, wire shelving and clothes airers.

The bedroom range is built around bed frames by size, from single and double to king size and super king size, together with wardrobes in wooden, fabric, metal and telescopic formats, clothes rails, bedside tables, blanket boxes and chest of drawers. For the home office, Bossy Cat lists reclining, massage, ergonomic, executive and gaming office chairs, standing desks, L-shaped desks and folding desks, plus filing cabinets, office mats and whiteboards and notice boards.

Garden furniture, storage and outdoor structures

The garden section extends the offer beyond indoor furnishing. It includes garden sofa sets, bistro and patio sets, garden sets, picnic tables and benches, and garden tables, as well as garden seating such as egg chairs, folding chairs, swing seats and hammocks, and sun loungers.

Shade and shelter products include cantilever, round and rectangular parasols with bases and covers, and gazebos and pergolas. Garden storage covers furniture covers, sheds, greenhouses and polytunnels, and wheelie bin storage. A gardening subsection lists planters and raised beds.

Lighting, radiators and home decor

Lighting is grouped into floor lamps (shelf, tripod, LED and arched), ceiling lights (pendant lights, spotlights and bathroom lighting), and lamps and wall lights. The heating range includes designer, traditional, oval, mirror and flat panel radiators, flat panel towel radiators and radiator covers.

Under home decor, the store lists mirrors, wall art, clocks including wall clocks, photo frames, and rugs and soft furnishings such as throws, cushions and barrier mats.

Delivery, payment and customer contact

According to the site, all orders qualify for free UK mainland delivery, dispatched from UK stock within three to five working days, and the company states that no hidden fees are added. The store also advertises flexible payment options under a shop-now-pay-later message and offers a 5% discount code to visitors who sign up with an email address, applicable to any item on the site including sale products.
