Arctic Cabins

Arctic Cabins: wooden BBQ huts made in Derbyshire

Arctic Cabins designs, manufactures and installs sloping-walled wooden BBQ huts, marketed as the original Arctic Cabin. The company states that production takes place in its own factory in Derbyshire and that installation is carried out by its own employed team, which it presents as a turn-key project from start to finish. The huts are described as handcrafted from sustainably sourced timber and are offered as an all-weather space for year-round entertaining.

The range is built around a central BBQ grill, and the company positions the cabins as a gathering place for family and friends in every season. Its own presentation describes the product as Scandinavian-inspired and refers to the outdoor Grillikota hut tradition.

Cabin sizes and garden bar options

The catalogue lists four BBQ cabin sizes, identified by floor area, plus two bar models and a series of complementary structures:

• 7m², 10m², 14m² and 17m² BBQ Cabins
• The Arctic Bar and the Large Arctic Bar
• Joined Cabins and The BBQube
• Garden Rooms, Garden Offices, Glamping Cabins and School Rooms

Buyers can personalise the space with optional extras, including side room extensions, drinks bars and porches. The company also mentions a Solar Dome among the options compared when choosing a size. One section of the site refers to cabins from 7m² to 25m², while another describes the range as running from 7m² to 17m².

Manufacturing, installation and guarantee

Arctic Cabins states that it is the trademark owner and that the cabins are UK manufactured. Each unit is covered by a 10-year manufacturer's guarantee, and the company highlights the combination of premium timber and traditional craftsmanship as the basis of that durability. Installation is handled by its own experienced crews rather than subcontractors, according to the company.
