The Outlet Shop

The Outlet Shop: clearance retail from Northwich

The Outlet Shop is a British online retailer built around clearance and liquidation stock. Its catalogue spans electronics, grocery, health and beauty, homewares, everyday essentials and clothing, and the store presents these ranges under a single discount proposition. The site advertises reductions of up to 90% off RRP on its liquidation deals.

Product ranges in the catalogue

The electronics section is the most developed part of the offer. It is organised by brand and by product family, covering official products from Apple, Samsung, Sony, Microsoft, Philips, Amazon, Google, Fitbit, Decoded, Sennheiser and Meta. Within that area the store lists mobile devices and accessories, chargers and cables, smart pens, iPhones and Android phones, mobile WiFi hotspots, smartwatches, home phones and phone cases, alongside audio equipment such as iPods, on-ear and in-ear headphones, speakers and smart speakers.

The computing and tablet offer includes laptops, desktops, 2-in-1 devices, keyboards, mice and webcams, stands and cases, chargers and cables, computer software, WiFi routers, extenders and hubs, USB hubs, external hard drives and internal solid-state drives. Gaming consoles and games for Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo are also listed, together with gaming accessories and mobile gaming items. Tablets and e-readers cover Android tablets, Apple iPads, Amazon Kindles, keyboard cases and tablet smart pens.

Beyond technology, the catalogue includes smart-home products such as security systems, smart lights, activity trackers, satellite navigation systems and media streamers. The grocery section covers food and beverages, confectionery, tea, coffee and hot drinks. Health and beauty is divided into men's and women's fragrance, toiletries, shaving and hair removal, hair extensions and wigs, cosmetics, skincare, dental care, stop-smoking aids, massage and relaxation products, medical supplies and baby care. Homewares include kitchenware and coffee machines, while bedding, electric blankets, candles and diffusers appear under home accessories. Everyday essentials cover baby and toddler products, cleaning products, pet supplies and household paper goods.

Damaged-box and clearance stock

A recurring feature of the product listings is the sale of items in damaged packaging. Examples in the new-products section include noise-reduction earplugs, a shower cleaner and limescale remover, a folding walking stick, sleep earplugs, a gift bag set, a vegan multivitamin, a Korean skincare essence toner and disposable bamboo paper napkins, several of them explicitly described as damaged box. The store also groups products into bargain bundles and maintains a dedicated clearance category.

Pickup and wholesale

Online orders can be collected from the company's unit in Northwich. The product page states that pickup is usually ready in four hours. The site also includes a wholesale section and a rewards programme for customers.

Currency and regional settings

The store's region and language selector lists the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man, both with prices in pounds sterling. Product prices are shown with taxes included and shipping calculated at checkout.
