CTD Tiles

CTD Tiles: tile sourcing and supply for trade and domestic projects

CTD Tiles operates as part of the CTD Group, which describes itself as specialising in sourcing and supplying tile designs across all sectors of the interior and architectural market. The group states it has more than 50 years of experience in the sector and presents itself as one of the leading names in the industry, positioning its collections around both classic design styles and current trends in tile manufacturing.

The operation combines a national structure with a local service model: customers and trade buyers can visit a store and deal directly with in-house specialists. The group reports tile showrooms and trade centres across the country, supported by a head office in Birmingham.

Product range on the CTD Tiles catalogue

The website organises its offer into clear categories for different areas of a project:

• Bathroom tiles
• Kitchen tiles
• Wall tiles
• Floor tiles
• Outdoor tiles
• Fixing products
• Porcelain paving
• Shower wall panels

Beyond tiles themselves, the catalogue includes installation and preparation materials. Among the best-selling items listed on the site were levelling systems, flexible tile adhesive, a professional tile cutter, diamond drill and blade sets, and tiling tools from brands such as GLS, Premtool, Sigma, Bihui and Abracs. Prices are shown both inclusive and exclusive of VAT, and some products are offered with selectable options.

The CTD Group brands: CTD Trade, GEMINI and Architectural Tiles

The group structures its offer around three lines. CTD Trade addresses professionals with a product portfolio for trade use. GEMINI Tiles provides interior collections, and CTD Architectural Tiles serves commercial and architectural projects. The range spans natural stone through to low-maintenance porcelain and ceramic options.

GEMINI is described as a ceramic wall and floor tile collection within the CTD Tiles portfolio, with collections the company says are individually handpicked and designed to cover a wide range of styles. Its range includes natural stone-effect tiles, textured décors, mosaics and both classic and contemporary designs. The company states that GEMINI products are available through 2,000 outlets around the country, with expert advice available at those points of sale. GEMINI is a registered trademark of CTD (Ceramic Tile Distributors) Tiles4less Ltd.

Customers and project types

The material identifies both commercial and domestic needs as targets of the business. Specific audiences named on the site include housebuilders, through a dedicated section on tiles for housebuilders, and trade professionals, supported by separate trade terms and conditions and a TradePay facility. Architectural and commercial ventures are served through the CTD Architectural Tiles line.

Health, safety and environmental commitments

The group reports having reached three million hours worked without a lost-time incident, an achievement it highlights as part of its health and safety approach across tile stores and distribution centres. On environmental matters, the company states it works with sustainable tile manufacturers and that these principles weigh heavily when selecting new ranges.

Practical services for buyers

The website lists a set of support tools alongside the product catalogue: a store locator, a tile calculator, tile layout guidance, care instructions for tiles, delivery and collection information, and a returns policy. Customers can track orders and contact the business through a help and services section.
