Glazing Hub

Glazing Hub: online ordering for double glazing in Northampton

Glazing Hub is a double glazing supplier and installer based in Northampton, founded in 2020 by Joe and Kev. The company presents itself as a locally owned business serving homeowners in Northampton, the surrounding areas and Milton Keynes, and describes its aim as becoming Northampton's most reliable double glazing and uPVC window fitting company. Its distinguishing feature is a remote, online route to ordering windows and doors, designed to replace long sales calls and high-pressure pitches.

How the online ordering process works

The company structures the buying process in three stages. First, the customer photographs the existing windows and doors around the home and uploads them to the platform, selecting styles from a range of options to build a quote. Glazing Hub states that its team then returns a detailed quote within 24 hours. Once the quote is accepted, a click connects the customer with a local Verified Fitter, who carries out a survey before scheduling the installation. On the installation day, the fitter arrives with the required materials, and the homeowner can follow each stage through a personalised dashboard.

Windows and doors offered

The catalogue covers several window types, each presented with its own characteristics:

• uPVC windows, described as robust and aimed at improving insulation and energy efficiency.
• Timber windows, combining traditional appearance with energy-saving features.
• Casement windows, available in a variety of materials.
• Tilt and turn windows, oriented towards ventilation and ease of cleaning.
• Bay windows, presented as a way to add space and elegance.
• Sash windows with double glazing, retaining the traditional sash format.

Doors also form part of the offer, including bifold and patio doors, which appear in the customer reviews cited on the site. The FAQ section raises the question of whether both uPVC and aluminium products are installed, although the visible service descriptions focus on the window types listed above.

Verified Fitters and installation

Installations are handled by a network of fitters that Glazing Hub describes as Verified Fitters, responsible for surveying the property and completing the work. The company presents this network as the basis of its quality and trust proposition, alongside materials it describes as durable, stylish and secure. It also refers to warranties and support backing its work, and states that it handles both residential and commercial projects.

Coverage across Northamptonshire

From its Northampton base, Glazing Hub supplies and installs for homes and businesses across Northamptonshire. The site names Kettering, Wellingborough, Daventry and Towcester among the areas served, and the company also refers to customers in Milton Keynes. A second location is listed under Milton Keynes alongside Northampton.

Customer feedback cited on the site

The website reproduces several reviews marked as verified. They describe full replacement of windows and doors including patio doors, installation of bifold doors in place of an existing window, and a process running from measurement to installation. Reviewers mention named staff, including Joe, Kevin, Terry and Adi, and comment on pricing and on the availability of the team for questions after the work was completed. These are individual accounts reproduced by the company rather than an independent assessment.

Background and positioning

Glazing Hub traces its origins to its founders' experience in the glazing industry and to frustrations observed among homeowners, which the company says led it to build a different model. It emphasises transparency in pricing, real-time tracking of installations and direct communication with the fitter. The company also states that it works with established names in the industry, without specifying them in the available material.
