Veehive: in-car technology, security and tuning upgrades

Veehive is a UK-based retailer and installer of aftermarket vehicle upgrades, operating an online store alongside installation services. Its catalogue is organised around four broad areas: smartphone integration, parking assistance, security, and interior and performance work. The company also offers coding and diagnostics for specific brands, most notably BMW and Mercedes-Benz, and runs a dedicated fleet and trade channel.

Apple CarPlay and Android Auto retrofits

Smartphone connectivity is the largest part of the range. Veehive lists wireless CarPlay and Android Auto retrofit modules, Linux-based and Android-based screen replacements, and MMB multimedia boxes for vehicles that already have factory wired CarPlay. The MMB line includes a universal version and a variant for BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce models. A separate section covers product support, with update files and guides such as the P306 CP/AA module update and an Audi A1 module update guide.

Parking cameras, sensors and dash cams

Under parking assistance, the shop groups reverse cameras, front cameras, 360-degree camera systems and parking sensors. The dash cam and security section combines dash cameras, vehicle immobilisers and tracking. Dash cams are sold under the ThinkWare brand, while immobilisers and Thatcham-approved S5/S7 tracking systems come from MetaTrak. Veehive also bundles these into combined security packages covering camera, tracker and immobiliser.

Interior styling and digital displays

Interior work includes fully custom and pre-built steering wheels, plus custom airbag replacements. Ambient lighting is offered as OEM-style kits for a long list of marques, including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, Lexus, Tesla, Land Rover, Jaguar, Mini Cooper, Toyota, Porsche and Lamborghini, alongside a universal Symphony Kit and Starlights. The site also lists OEM and aftermarket digital instrument clusters, interior trim upgrades and other interior modifications. Factory-style OEM ambient lighting was marked as coming soon at the time of writing.

BMW and Mercedes-Benz coding and diagnostics

A specialist coding section covers BMW work such as ID5/ID6 Apple CarPlay activation, iDrive reboot fixes, switching CarPlay from half to full screen, iStep updates, ID5 EVO to ID6 EVO skin upgrades and ID4 EVO to ID6 EVO upgrades with CarPlay. Further BMW options include adaptive suspension EDC coding, race seat airbag coding, hidden feature unlocking, SOS emergency call malfunction deletion, speed limit info activation, MGU ID7 video in motion and CarPlay/Android Auto activation, EntryNav2 ID6 CarPlay activation and radio region changes. BMW iDrive navigation updates and region changes are handled separately, with 2025 map updates and map FSC codes. For Mercedes-Benz, the coding menu lists NTG5S1 activation for A, B, CLA, GLA, GLE, CLS and SLC models, NTG5.2 for C-Class and GLC, and NTG5.5 for E, C and S-Class.

Engine, gearbox and emissions tuning

Performance work spans engine remaps and ECU tuning, gearbox remaps and TCU tuning, and a BMW specialist line covering ECU/TCU upgrades, GTS/CS performance flashes, xHP gearbox tuning and BM3 Bootmod/MHD. The emissions and functions section lists function delete tuning and DPF/AdBlue solutions, and the company accepts custom tuning requests. Installation services are offered alongside the products.

Fleet, trade and location-specific service

Veehive maintains a fleet, B2B and trade section with an information pack request and a fleet or bulk quote option. It also publishes location-based service pages, including one for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto in Newcastle upon Tyne. Diagnostic support is available by phone, and the store ships internationally with prices shown in several currencies, including GBP, USD, AUD, CAD and NZD.
