Best Mix Carp: UK-made carp bait and tackle for specimen anglers

Best Mix Carp (BMC) is a British online retailer specialising in carp fishing bait and related tackle. The company states that its products are made, mixed and tested in the UK, and that it does not outsource production. Groundbait and bait strategy

One of the company's editorial pieces addresses the question of the best groundbait mix for carp fishing in the UK. The article notes that the right mix can attract carp, hold them in the swim and trigger feeding even on difficult days. This content sits alongside the Groundbait Cerealier range, which is available in Garlic and Sweet Vanilla flavours in 900 g packs.

Field testing and UK manufacturing

Best Mix Carp emphasises that its baits are created from scratch and field-tested across UK lakes by anglers. The company cites over 500 sessions as part of its testing background. It also states that all liquids and boosters are PVA-safe and suitable for bag or stick mixes. The business describes itself as fully compliant with Feed Hygiene Regulation (EC) No. 183/2005 and officially registered with Milton Keynes City Council Trading Standards under reference GB 870 0158.

Delivery and payment

Standard and next-day shipping options are offered, with free shipping on orders over £100. Payment methods include PayPal, Stripe, Klarna, Payoneer, card payments, Android Pay, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay. The shop also mentions a 14-day return policy for unopened items and states that damaged items are replaced.

Customer feedback and guarantees

The website includes testimonials from anglers describing catches such as 20 lb+ commons, a 31 lb mirror and a section win, attributed to specific products including Sweetcorn Pellets, Krill N-Butyric Wafters, Power Smoke Garlic and Sweetcorn Powersmoke. Best Mix Carp also advertises a 30-day "Blame the weather" guarantee and describes its customer service as tea-powered. A first-order discount code, BMCFANS10, offers 10% off.
