Zen Shots Photography

Portrait photography in Milton Keynes

Zen Shots Photography is a portrait studio based in Milton Keynes that describes itself as an award-winning photography business. Its work is organised around four main commissions: family and couples sessions, newborn photography, maternity and baby sessions, and pet photography. The studio presents each shoot as a tailored commission rather than a fixed template, with the stated aim of producing high-end portrait wall art.

The company operates under the trading name Zen Shots Photography; the registered entity behind it is Emotions Worth Capturing Ltd., registered in England under company number 17178280.

Photoshoot specialisms

• Family and couples: sessions open to families, couples, grandparents and pets together.
• Newborn: a dedicated newborn photography line.
• Maternity and baby: a separate category for expectant parents and babies.
• Pets: pet portraits as a distinct service, alongside a recurring "Cutest Pet Competition".
• Product range: the studio also lists a product line connected to its portrait output.

The introductory portrait package

The studio's entry-level offer is the Portrait Photoshoot Experience, priced at £25 as an introductory package. According to the site, it comprises a one-hour photoshoot of the client's choice, a fine art consultation to review the images, and one 10x8 fine art mounted print of the favourite image. The page labels this an exclusive price under a limited-time offer, with the discount applied at checkout.

Booking runs through an online live calendar. A £25 deposit is taken at the end of the online booking and is described as fully refundable, returned after the client attends both the photoshoot and the fine art consultation.

How a session is structured

The studio outlines a four-step process. Clients first choose a date and time through the availability calendar, then attend the photoshoot itself. They later return to view their images presented as a show, and finally select a sample image plus any additional artwork. This sequence places the viewing and selection stage after the shoot rather than at the time of the session.

Ratings and customer feedback

The site reports a customer satisfaction score of 4.8 based on more than 2,800 reviews, and presents itself as the highest-rated option for family, couples, pet and newborn photography. Customer testimonials form a section of the website, and the gallery displays sample portrait work.
