Firstaid4sport: sports first aid kits, taping and injury supports

Firstaid4sport is a UK-based supplier and manufacturer of sports first aid kits, sports taping and strapping products, and supports and braces intended to treat or prevent sports injuries. The company states that it develops its own kits for specific sports, including football and rugby, using its knowledge of those games and of sports injuries to assemble the products needed for pitchside care.

Alongside kits, Firstaid4sport manufactures its own zinc oxide tape and elastic adhesive bandage (EAB), and stocks a wider range of tapes and strapping that includes kinesiology tape, Tear Light tape, PVC insulation sock tape and underwrap.

Taping, strapping and first aid consumables

The taping and strapping range is organised into several families: sports tapes (EAB, zinc oxide and kinesiology), cohesive and compression bandages, preparation and protection items such as underwrap, pre-wrap, adhesive spray, skin protection and dermal pads, and accessories including sock tape, scissors and rugby lifting blocks. Tapes are offered in formats such as Tear Light MAX EAB, non-tear EAB with a straight edge, and sport zinc oxide tape.

The first aid section covers consumables such as plasters, dressings, bandages, wound care and cleansing products, scissors and tweezers, eye first aid, burns first aid, needles and syringes, gloves and aprons, hygiene products, and pain relief and medicines. It also includes training courses, electrotherapy, medical equipment, diagnostics, resuscitation and casualty handling items such as foil blankets.

Kits by sport and for professional use

First aid kits are grouped by context: general sports, rugby, football, hockey, cricket, netball, professional sports, personal and workplace kits, plus BS8599 2026 compliant kits and empty first aid bags. The catalogue also lists custom first aid bags and kits, and a custom Firstaid4sport Elite Bag in orange to which a logo can be added.

Specific kit lines named in the catalogue include the Rugby First Aid Kit – Advanced, the Football First Aid Kit – Essential, the Sports First Aid Kit – Team, Pitchside Medics and the Physio Bag. The company describes its rugby kits as market-leading for pitchside amateur or professional use.

The hot and cold therapy range includes instant ice packs (Koolpak instant, compact and sports versions), cryotherapy products such as the Aircast Knee Cryo Cuff and Cryo Cuff Cooler, instant heat packs, reusable gel packs, cold compresses and ice bags, sprays and rubs, and ice pack accessories.
