The Cot Mattress Company

Mattresses for cots, cribs and smaller sleep spaces

The Cot Mattress Company makes baby mattresses in the United Kingdom for cots, cribs, Moses baskets and travel cots. Its range covers different sizes and constructions rather than treating every sleeping space as the same product. The company says its mattress-making experience spans more than thirty years and traces its beginnings to the Babyworld website launched in the late 1990s.

Materials and construction

Shoppers can compare foam, sprung and natural-material models. The catalogue describes options using pocket springs, coconut coir, lambswool and cotton, with product pages showing how the internal layers are assembled. Models include Silver Air and Gold Sprung as well as several EasyChange mattresses, from foam-based versions to coir-and-wool constructions. The company's guides explain the practical questions parents may want to consider, including firmness, fit and waterproof protection, without assuming one construction suits every cot.

The EasyChange system

EasyChange is the company's removable-cover design. Each mattress in that range is supplied with a waterproof base cover and two zip-on toppers, so one can be fitted while the other is washed. The site describes a machine-washable cover and temperature-control fabric. This design is intended to make routine cleaning simpler while protecting the mattress core; the particular materials vary by model.

Choosing and receiving a mattress

The online shop groups products by cot type and offers accessories alongside help articles about mattress sizing and materials. It says standard delivery is free on orders of £30 or more, with eligible items usually ready to dispatch in one to two working days before shipment by DHL. As dimensions, construction and delivery terms depend on the selected product, buyers should check the relevant product page before ordering.
