Contract Divan Beds

Contract bedding for hotels, B&Bs and student accommodation

Contract Divan Beds is a UK-based supplier of beds and mattresses aimed at the hospitality and accommodation trade. Its catalogue is organised around contract use: divan beds, hotel beds, student beds, waterproof beds and zip-and-link beds, together with a separate range of contract mattresses, headboards, ottoman beds and divan bases. The company presents itself as a source of "luxury hotel quality" products made in the UK, and states that its beds and mattresses are Crib 5 and BS7177 fire compliant.

The range is designed for buyers furnishing multiple rooms rather than single households. The site lists hotels, B&Bs, student accommodation and hospitality businesses among its target customers, and the waterproof divan sets are described as a popular choice for care and nursing homes.

Zip and link beds for flexible room configuration

Zip and link is one of the central product families. These beds are presented as a practical option for hotels, B&Bs and accommodation providers that need to reconfigure rooms quickly to maximise occupancy, since the two halves can be joined or separated. The zip and link range is sold as complete bed sets, as ottoman sets and as standalone mattresses.

Within zip and link, the catalogue is tiered by specification. The Supreme Guest, Essentials Guest and Luxury Hotel lines combine pocket sprung cores of 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000 or 5000 springs depending on the model, with fillings that include intelligent fibre, intelligent memory and intelligent wool in the Luxury Hotel range. Firmness is indicated for each product as medium, medium firm or firm. Ottoman versions add under-bed storage to the same zip and link configuration.

Waterproof and care-sector beds

The waterproof divan bed sets are coated in a water-resistant fabric that the company describes as easy to wipe down and keep clean, a specification it links to care and nursing homes. These sets are listed from £224.99.

Mattresses, bases and headboards

Beyond complete beds, the site sells contract mattresses individually and organises them in several ways: by size, by type and by firmness. Sizes run from single (3'0" x 6'3") through small double, double, king size (5'0" x 6'6") and super king (6'0" x 6'6"). Types include zip and link, waterproof, pocket sprung, open coil, memory foam and hotel mattresses, and the firmness filter distinguishes medium, medium firm and firm. Waterproof mattress protectors are also part of the catalogue, alongside divan bed bases, ottoman beds and headboards.

Trade accounts, bulk orders and delivery

The company invites trade buyers to open a trade account and advertises bulk order discounts. Delivery is described as a free two-man, any-room service within three to five days, although individual product listings state free delivery in three to seven days. A 10% discount is offered at checkout with the code CDB10. The site also displays a Trustpilot rating of "Excellent", attributed to the information available on the site at the time of writing this profile.

Prices in the catalogue are shown as regular prices with sale prices alongside; zip and link bed sets, for example, start from £569.99, while zip and link mattresses start from £329.99. These figures reflect the catalogue as listed when this profile was drafted.
