Moon Whale

Moon Whale, a UK online store for TCGs and collectibles

Moon Whale is a British online retailer specialising in trading card games, action figures, graded cards and hardcover comics. The store operates through moon-whale.com and presents itself as a collector-focused destination, with a catalogue that combines sealed TCG product, premium figures and professionally graded items. Orders over £55 qualify for free tracked next-day shipping within the UK, a threshold the site states applies to orders placed before 2 PM.

Sealed trading card games

The TCG range is the core of the catalogue and covers booster boxes, Elite Trainer Boxes, booster packs, collection boxes and tins. Pokémon is the most extensively represented line, alongside One Piece Card Game, Magic: The Gathering, Disney Lorcana, Star Wars: Unlimited, Naruto Mythos TCG, Cyberpunk TCG and Palworld Trading Card Game. The store highlights recent and upcoming Pokémon releases such as Prismatic Evolutions, Destined Rivals, Black Bolt, White Flare and the Mega Evolution set, and lists individual products including Mega Evolution – Pitch Black booster boxes and Elite Trainer Boxes, a Mega Greninja ex Premium Collection and the Poké Ball Tin reprint. Magic: The Gathering listings include The Hobbit Collector Booster Box and several play and collector booster boxes tied to Marvel, Avatar and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sets, while Star Wars: Unlimited appears with Carbonite and Play Booster Boxes from the Ashes of the Empire, A Lawless Time and Secrets of Power releases.

Action figures and premium collectibles

Beyond cards, Moon Whale stocks action figures and higher-end collectibles. The range includes Hot Toys 1/6 scale figures, Hasbro six-inch lines such as Star Wars Black Series and Marvel Legends, Funko products and live-action collectables. The company states that it plans to add Sideshow statues in the future, and it is also extending its catalogue into hardcover comics, with DC Absolute editions and Marvel Omnibus volumes cited as examples intended for display or long-term collecting.

Graded cards and slab protection

A dedicated graded section brings together cards authenticated and encapsulated by CGC, spanning Pokémon, One Piece and Magic: The Gathering. Among the Pokémon cards named are Charizard, Greninja, Gengar, Blastoise and Mew, while the One Piece selection includes manga chase cards featuring Monkey D. Luffy. The store also lists graded products from BGS, PSA and ACE, and indicates that CGC-graded comics will be added to the offer. Complementing this, Moon Whale sells GradedGuard slab protectors designed for PSA, CGC and BGS slabs, presented as a way to improve presentation and add everyday protection.

Accessories and display

The accessories line covers card sleeves and toploaders, card binders and acrylic display boxes, alongside the GradedGuard protectors in various colours and limited editions. These items sit alongside the sealed product and graded cards as part of the same collector-oriented catalogue.

Expansion plans and collector feedback

Moon Whale states that it intends to broaden its TCG offer with Disney Lorcana, Yu-Gi-Oh!, League of Legends, Final Fantasy and The Lord of the Rings, and it invites collectors to subscribe to its newsletter for restock and release announcements. The site also points to Trustpilot reviews and displays a customer rating drawn from 134 reviews, with buyers commenting on packaging, delivery speed and pricing. New release times and restocks are announced through the store's Instagram account, moon.whale.uk.
