About Keep It What

Keep It What: personalised gifts printed and engraved in-house

Keep It What Limited is a UK company registered in London and trading since 2024. It operates as a personalised gift shop that UV-prints and laser-engraves products to order in its own workshop. The range covers golf balls, wedges and golf accessories, photo jigsaws, ceramic tiles, slate coasters and kitchen gifts, among others. The company states that it engraves its own stock rather than items sent in by customers.

The business was started by founder Andrew after he tried to have a golf club engraved for his son and spent weeks on emails and proofs before the job was completed. That experience shaped two defining features of the service: a live preview tool and in-house printing.

Six ranges of personalised products

The catalogue is organised into six ranges, each with a distinct focus:

  • Golf: personalised golf balls from Titleist, Callaway, TaylorMade and Srixon in packs of three or a dozen, plus laser-engraved Ping and TaylorMade wedges, ball markers and accessories.
  • Tiled: photographs and city designs printed onto ceramic tile art.
  • Cooking: engraved slate coasters, full-colour photo coasters and recipe books.
  • Romantic: Spotify music plaques, star map night lights and 25mm acrylic photo blocks.
  • PG: jigsaws, photo cubes and name prints for children.
  • Branded: custom acrylic signs for businesses, offices and events.

Among the trending items listed at the time of writing were custom Titleist Pro V1 golf balls at £10.99, a 25mm photo block measuring 100x100mm at £19.99, custom TaylorMade TP5x golf balls at £11.99, a "Where We Met" map plaque at £24.99 and a custom engraved Ping S259 Chrome wedge at £179.99.

Live preview and ordering process

Each personalised product page includes a preview tool. The customer types the desired text, selects a font, uploads a photo where applicable and positions it; the preview updates as the design is adjusted, so the on-screen result reflects the final item. Character limits vary by product and the tool displays the limit for the specific item. Uploads can be in JPG, PNG, WebP or GIF format, and around 300 DPI is recommended for the cleanest print. There is no emailed proof to wait for: the customer approves the design and places the order directly.

Production, delivery and order changes

Personalisation takes 1-4 working days, and standard UK delivery adds a further 1-3 working days, so most orders arrive 2-7 working days after being placed. Delivery is free on orders over £75 and costs £4.95 below that threshold. The company currently ships within the United Kingdom only. An order can be changed within the first two hours; after that it enters production. Items arrive in gift-ready packaging at no extra cost, and a message card can be added at checkout.

Returns policy for personalised items

Personalised items cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive faulty or damaged, because they are made uniquely for each customer. Non-personalised items can be returned within 14 days of delivery for a full refund. If a personalised item arrives faulty, the company asks customers to email with photos so the issue can be resolved.
