RJ Movers: Manchester removals for homes, offices and students

RJ Movers is a Manchester-based removals company that provides residential and commercial moving services across the UK. The company presents itself as a home removal and storage specialist and states that customer satisfaction, integrity and professionalism are central to its work. Its services cover the practical side of a move, from packing and furniture dismantling to storage and house clearances.

Residential and office moving services

For home moves, RJ Movers offers professional removal services tailored to properties ranging from apartments to large family homes. The company uses a fleet of vehicles to transport belongings and positions itself as handling the heavy lifting for the customer. For office moves, the team arrives equipped with trolleys, moving cages, blankets and ratchet straps to manage files, computers and monitors during the transition to a new location.

Packing, dismantling and reassembly

The packing service is designed around the safe transport of belongings, including fragile items. RJ Movers states that its team knows how to wrap, pack and stack items securely and uses high-quality materials. A full packing service or partial help with a few items can be arranged, and the company offers the option of packing the day before a move. In addition to dismantling and rebuilding furniture, the team assembles flatpack items and carries the correct tools for the job.

Specialist moves: pianos, plants and students

RJ Movers moves upright pianos between ground floors using steel-based piano wheels. The company notes that it does not currently move grand pianos and asks customers with upright pianos that need to go up or down stairs to discuss whether the move can be completed. Plants and garden items are also transported, from small pots to larger garden collections. For students, the company offers affordable removals for moves to campus, a new flat or back home.

Man and van, storage and house clearances

The man and van service in Manchester is aimed at small moves, urgent deliveries and single-item transportation, such as relocating a studio apartment or moving a desk to a new office. RJ Movers also offers secure storage units in different sizes across the Manchester area, equipped with CCTV surveillance and accessible only through electric gates. House clearances remove unwanted items and leave a property vacant; unusable waste is disposed of at licensed recycling sites, and the company states that its vehicles are licensed to transport waste products.

Booking, payment and insurance

RJ Movers recommends booking a removal at least two to four weeks in advance. Quotes can be requested through an online form, by phone or by email. The company accepts bank transfers, cash and card payments, requires a 25% deposit to confirm a booking and collects full payment upon completion of services. Various insurance options are available to protect belongings during the move, and a claims process applies if something is damaged. If a new home is not ready on moving day, short-term storage can be arranged. Packing materials such as boxes, bubble wrap and tape can be supplied.

Customer feedback and practical details

The website includes testimonials from customers who describe the team as professional, trustworthy and friendly, and who mention punctuality, help with awkward furniture and value for money. RJ Movers states that it operates seven days a week and can assist with moves in the evening if required.
