Cosy®Floor: an independent UK supplier of underfloor heating and cooling systems

Cosy®Floor, trading as UFH Supplies, is an independently owned British business that sells underfloor heating and cooling equipment. The company describes itself as an online shop and supplier of wet underfloor heating systems and electric underfloor heating kits, mats, boards, wiring, overlay boards and manifolds. Its stated focus is supplying high-quality products at competitive prices, backed by a warehouse that is fully stocked for next-day delivery and by bespoke quotes and designs with a 24-hour turnaround.

The business reports over 50 years of combined underfloor heating experience among its team. It presents itself as suitable both for customers new to underfloor heating and for those needing specialist help, offering what it describes as a professional yet personal service.

Wet underfloor heating systems and components

The wet side of the catalogue covers several installation approaches for water-based systems, intended for spaces of any shape and size. The range includes between-joists systems, low-profile systems, overlay systems and within-screed systems. Cosy®Floor stocks CosyBoard low-profile overlay systems and in-screed water underfloor heating systems, and sells both complete systems and their individual components and accessories.

Wet-system components listed by the company include manifolds, pipe, pre-insulated pipe, pump and mixing sets, and press fittings. The press plumbing range covers press-to-copper, press-to-press and press-to-thread fittings, MLCP pipe in different size combinations, and tools. Pipe is offered in materials such as PE-RT and PE-RT/ALU/PE-RT, in 12 mm, 16 mm and 20 mm diameters. Fixing products for securing pipe to the floor include clips, rail, staple gun, staples and ties.

Electric underfloor heating and controls

For electric systems, Cosy®Floor sells the Electrotherm range of underfloor heating mats, available individually or as part of a complete electric underfloor heating kit. The electric range is organised by floor finish, with options for carpet, laminate or vinyl finishes and for tile or stone finishes. The company presents electric underfloor heating as an energy-efficient method for heating rooms and properties of any size.

Thermostats and controls include dial, Neo-Smart, slimline and wireless thermostats, plus wiring centres. Cosy®Floor states that its thermostats allow users or their customers to reach a comfortable temperature while controlling heating bills.

Design service, trade orders and delivery

Every system order includes a free design plan. Customers send the details of their project and receive a quote, and the company produces the design so that the customer knows exactly what is needed. Cosy®Floor asks for a floorplan and aims to ensure the right materials are supplied with minimal wastage. Free technical advice is also offered.

For larger orders, the company offers a trade discount and custom quotes. Customers add the desired products to a quote tool and enter their contact details in a request form to receive a personalised quote. Free UK delivery applies to selected items.
