Windowparts Ltd: replacement hardware for windows and doors

Windowparts Ltd supplies replacement hardware for windows and doors, aimed at the fenestration industry and also sold to repair specialists and homeowners. The company describes its offer as quality replacement hardware backed by product support, and it sells both through its website and through two physical shops, one in Luton and one at Staples Corner in London.

The catalogue is organised around the job at hand rather than around brands alone: customers can start from the type of repair and then narrow the choice by type, size or manufacturer. The range is presented as genuine and compatible parts from established names in window and door repair.

Door hardware in the catalogue

The door side of the catalogue covers handles, including interior handles, centre lockcases and aluminium door lockcases, deadlocks and sashlocks, letterboxes, hinges, gaskets and seals, cylinder locks and door keeps. It also lists door knockers, spindles, nightlatches and door bolts, together with a general door accessories section.

Patio doors have their own group of products: patio handles, rollers, locks and levers, shootbolts and other patio accessories. Multipoint locks form a separate category, with replacement mechanisms listed under manufacturers including Asgard, Avantis, Avocet, Cego, Era, Fab & Fix, Ferco, Fuhr, Fullex, G-U, Kenrick, KFV, Maco, Mila, Millenco, Paddock, Roto, Safeware, Vitawin and Winkhaus.

Window parts and security fittings

On the window side, the shop stocks window handles, espagnolette locks, tilt and turn fittings, friction hinges, window gearboxes and window restrictors. The same section includes gaskets and seals, drill bits, glazing packers, shootbolts, window keeps and wedges, trickle vents, window keys and other general window accessories.

Security hardware is grouped separately, with security cylinders and additional security products. A further block of the catalogue is devoted to antique hardware, such as drawer pull handles, door locks, hooks and latches, knobs, fasteners and stays, plus fencing and gate hinges, gate latches and catches, pad bolts, hooks, rails and cleats.

Tools, consumables and the Flexi range

Alongside the hardware, Windowparts lists tools and consumables: drill bits, screws, cleaning products, foams and cleaners, paints, oils and lubricants, silicones and sealants, adhesives and expanding foams. The company also markets its own Flexi parts line, split into Flexi door hardware and Flexi window hardware, presented as a flexible range of replacement components.

Sale sections for door hardware and window hardware sit alongside the main catalogue. Among the newest products listed at the time of writing were an Assa Abloy dual lock espag, Certifire stainless steel grade 13 ball bearing hinges, a Maco shootbolt window gearbox, a handle maintenance kit, a Schlegel sliding patio door handle with euro profile and Asgard lever/lever and lever/pad universal door handles in white. The most popular items shown included a Penkid fixed cable restrictor, WP Flexi window keeps, a universal wedge and flipper gasket sample, a Trojan Stallion style window gearbox, a Pentilt tilt and turn window restrictor, a Hoppe 2W153 window key, a telescopic screw jack manual window opener and a universal Flexi door centre latch keep.

Trade support and buying terms

The company presents itself as a trade-trusted supplier and states that it offers expert product support. Customers who are unsure which part they need can send a photo or product details so the team can help identify a suitable replacement. The site also offers a downloadable brochure for reference.

Buying options include click and collect at the local shops and free UK delivery on orders over £100 plus VAT. The shop advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee. Windowparts Ltd also states that it is a Safesupplier Verified company.

Two shops: Luton and Staples Corner

The business operates from a head office and shop in Luton, Bedfordshire, and a second shop at the Apsley Centre on Apsley Way, Staples Corner, London. Both locations are listed as stores on the site and support local collection of online orders.
