Inside Connections

Inside Connections: training and recruitment for people leaving custody, care or the armed forces

Inside Connections is a community interest company (CIC) based in Liverpool that provides support and opportunities to individuals in or exiting custody, care or the armed forces, as well as to people in the wider community. Its activity combines training courses, recruitment support and work with employers, and the organisation also accepts donations and referrals.

Courses: paid training and fully funded programmes

The organisation offers two distinct course routes. Paid courses are described as specialised training for people looking to enhance their expertise in specific fields, presented as a route to professional growth and career development. Funded courses are free and designed to give learners the skills needed in the current job market; the organisation states that these programmes are fully funded and that eligibility for funding can be checked by contacting it.

Recruitment and employer partnerships

Inside Connections works closely with employers on their recruitment and training needs. Through this collaboration it offers access to a talent pool it describes as motivated and aims to boost employers' social value. The site also includes a recruitment section alongside its courses and employer pages.

Donations and referrals

The organisation accepts donations to support its work, which it frames around reducing and preventing reoffending, addressing workforce challenges and creating safer, more stable communities. It also has a referrals channel, and its site includes a modern slavery statement among its published policies.

Team and updates

The site presents a team of industry professionals described as guiding learners and candidates through each step. A news and success stories section is announced but, at the time of the scan, showed no published posts.
