NightSearcher

NightSearcher: rechargeable lighting, solar and portable power from the United Kingdom

NightSearcher is a British lighting company founded in 1989 with the stated aim of bringing professional-standard lighting products to everyday users. The company sells directly through its own online store, priced in pounds sterling, and organises its catalogue around four main blocks: lights, power, solar and ATEX-certified equipment. Alongside the products, the site offers spare parts, warranty support and a battery care resource.

Portable and professional lighting ranges

The lighting catalogue is divided into several families. Flashlights include spot-to-flood, lightweight, professional and UV models; head torches cover professional, wave-controlled, spot-to-flood and running versions. The range also lists search lights (long-distance hand lamps), area lights, work lights, sports lights, automotive lighting and hazard lights. Among the featured products at the time of writing were the Explorer 1150 Zoom rechargeable LED zoom flashlight (1150 lumens), the Orion-X worklight and handlamp (1800 lumens), the Ranger searchlight and work/flood light (2400 lumens), the Trio 1000 rechargeable searchlight, the Gator 3500 grip light and the TriStar Connect tower light (10,000 lumens), which runs on power-tool batteries or AC power.

Area and site lighting

Within professional area lighting, the catalogue lists high-output tower floodlights such as the StratoStar and StratoStar X (120,000 lumens, rechargeable) and the StratoStar AC, plus the Solaris Pro and Solaris Pro-X rechargeable area lights with 24- and 48-hour runtime respectively, the Galaxy Pro 6K hybrid work light, the SportStar Kit for sports floodlighting, the SolarisDuo 20K floodlight system and the Solaris MegaStar 20K in several battery configurations. Work lights also include powertool-battery models, and the TriStar Connect line is described as compatible with DeWalt, Milwaukee, Makita and Bosch batteries.

Solar lighting for homes and professional use

The solar division separates residential and professional products. Residential solar includes wall lights, security lights, decorative wall lights, garden solar lights, path lights and residential floodlights. The NexSun wall-light series appears with models such as Aurora, Nautilus (2000 lumens, tiltable with PIR sensor), Ember, Tides, Solstice, Acer, Polaris and Brick. On the professional side, the catalogue lists professional floodlights, solar bollard lights and solar sports lights.

Portable power stations, jump starters and power banks

Under the GenZero brand, NightSearcher sells portable power stations ranging from the GenZero 300 (230Wh, 300W) up to the GenZero 2400, plus a professional series that includes the Cobalt 12000, Cobalt 6000, Cobalt 3600, Zircon, Onyx and GenZero 800. The company presents these all-electric units as an alternative to petrol or diesel generators, citing no emissions, no noise, no fuel cost and no mechanical maintenance. The power category is completed by VoltMax and StarBooster jump starters and DuraBank power banks.

ATEX-certified explosion-proof lighting

A distinct line covers ATEX-certified lighting for hazardous environments, split into flashlights (Sigma 4AA, Sigma RA, Sigma Zoom, Sigma 3C, Sigma RFL and Sigma PL), head torches (Sigma Mini and Sigma Pro) and hand lamps (Sigma RSL 1000 and Sigma RSL), as well as Titan R, Titan RX and Titan Pendant floodlights. The Sigma Pro head torch is listed with 220 lumens and Zone 0 classification.

Warranty, spares and customer support

The company offers a standard warranty of three or five years depending on the product, extendable to five or ten years, and provides a dedicated channel for warranty claims and extensions. Spare parts and accessories are sold separately, and the site includes servicing and repair information, a battery care guide, FAQs, news and a careers section. Orders placed before 1pm on weekdays are dispatched the same day, and shipping is free on orders over £30, excluding selected deals and limited to mainland UK. Customer service is described as available from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. The company also states that a new warehouse is planned.

Company background

Founded in 1989, NightSearcher describes itself as having expanded over the years while maintaining its original focus on professional-grade lighting. The site includes a section on the company's history and another on its support for emergency services. The company registration details appear truncated in the available material.
