Lights 4 You

Lights 4 You, an independent UK decorative lighting specialist

Lights 4 You is a British retailer of decorative LED lighting for homes, gardens and commercial displays. Founded in 2008, the company positions itself as an independent, family-run business supplying both domestic customers and major UK retailers. Its catalogue covers indoor and outdoor ranges, connectable systems and occasion-specific lighting.

The company states that its product knowledge derives from years working with one of Europe's leading suppliers of decorative lighting for shopping centres and town councils, and that its range is built to those same commercial standards.

Indoor and outdoor LED ranges

The shop is organised around two main environments. The indoor selection includes string lights, cluster lights and motion lights, presented as lighting for all seasons. The outdoor and garden range comprises LED string lights, festoon lights, cluster lights, icicle lights and net lights, with festoon and connectable sets described as built for outdoor use.

Connectable systems for large displays

A central feature of the range is the connectable system, which allows up to 40 sets to be linked on a single plug. The company presents this as suitable for large gardens, events and professional displays, and publishes step-by-step setup guides for icicle, string, cluster and net lights.

Lighting by occasion

Beyond general decorative lighting, the catalogue groups products by celebration:

• Christmas lights
• Diwali lights
• Wedding lights
• Party lights
• BBQ and garden party lights

Seasonal campaigns on the site also cover autumn lighting and a dedicated Christmas collection in warm white, ice white and multicoloured variants.

Specifications and durability claims

The company states that its products are built to commercial-grade standards, citing IP67 weatherproofing, heavy-duty cables and LED components as standard rather than optional. It also claims that its LED lighting uses up to 80% less energy, and says product pages list IP rating, connection limits, cable type and bulb count. According to the company, many customers report their original sets still working after a decade or more of British weather. Every product is described as backed by a two-year warranty.

Retail partnerships and order handling

Lights 4 You reports a long-standing supply relationship with Costco dating back to its founding in 2008, and states that its products are trusted by major UK retailers. Orders placed before 10am are despatched the same day according to the company, and delivery within the UK is free on orders over £60.

Customer feedback shown on the site

The site displays a Trustpilot rating described as "Excellent" and reproduces customer comments praising product quality, value and after-sales support, including a case in which a customer was talked through a setup problem by phone. Individual testimonials reflect the experience of those customers rather than a general assessment.
