Furniture Factor

Furniture Factor, a Leicester furniture shop with online sales

Furniture Factor is a furniture retailer based in Leicester, trading under Ronz LTD. The company presents itself as a supplier of flatpack furniture for the bedroom, lounge, dining room, study, bathroom and hallway, and combines an online catalogue with a physical showroom in the city. Its stated focus is contemporary furniture and storage solutions sourced from European manufacturers, offered at what it describes as competitive prices.

The business states that it has been supplying sofas, wardrobes and beds in Leicester for twenty years. It also indicates that customers can use free parking at its premises.

Bedroom furniture and wardrobes

The bedroom section is the broadest part of the catalogue. It covers beds in single, double, king size, leather and metal versions, along with bunk beds, high sleepers and headboards. Mattresses are grouped into memory foam, memory gel and orthopaedic lines, and the range includes overbed units and bed sets designed to combine a bed with overhead storage.

Wardrobes are organised by type and size: standard wardrobes in two, three, four and five-door versions, corner wardrobes, sliding wardrobes and overbed units. The site also lists chests of drawers, bedside tables, tallboys, dressing tables and shoe cupboards. A separate children's line, the Mérida range, includes bunk beds, daybeds, high sleepers and single beds.

Several named bedroom collections appear in the catalogue, including Althena, Astor, Balmain, Corbett, Erma, Hana, Hilton, Nevis, Novara, Roma, Savona, Spiro and Valenca.

Lounge, dining and home office

For living and dining spaces, Furniture Factor lists sofas and suites, recliners and sofa beds, together with dining sets in glass and wood, dining chairs, bar stools, sideboards and display cabinets. Tables include coffee tables, console tables, lamp tables and nest of tables, and there is a section for TV cabinets and media units.

The lounge and dining catalogue is arranged into named ranges such as Alabama, Aspire, Bali, Burgundy, Calvino, Camelia, Cellini, Correze, Cottage, Darwen, Greystone, Karlo, Lathea, Lorenz, Novara, Oakli, Perth, Selby, Serene, St Albans, Theo and Visio.

The study and office section covers computer desks, office desks, office chairs, filing and storage units, bookcases and shelving. A broader storage category adds bathroom furniture, hallway storage, kitchen units, shelving, shoe cabinets, storage boxes, tallboys and utility cupboards.

Clearance and current offers

The site maintains a stock clearance section and a weekly deals area. At the time of writing this profile, the clearance banner advertised savings of up to 70% off, while a newsletter prompt referred to up to 50% off. The deals listed included bathroom cabinets, corner wardrobes, a study desk, a sideboard, overbed unit and bed sets, shoe cabinets and utility cupboards, with marked reductions against previous prices.

The catalogue also showed a premium orthopaedic six-layer mattress available in four sizes, breakfast stools and chairs from the Puebla range, and a grey four-drawer narrow chest.

Buying, delivery and guarantees

Orders can be placed online, with payment in pounds sterling, euros or US dollars. The company advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, a price match promise and a secure checkout. It states that delivery is available to most of the UK mainland and that further charges may apply to a list of postcodes that includes AB, CA, DD, DG, EH, FK, G, IV, KA, KW, KY, LD, LL, ML, PA, PH, PL, SA, SY, TD, TR and TQ.
