Country Baskets: artificial flowers and floristry supplies from Leeds

Country Baskets operates as a wholesaler and retailer of artificial flowers, floristry supplies and decorative ranges for celebrations and seasonal displays. The business is run by Country Baskets Imports Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, and its head office is at Ardsley Mills on Bradford Road in East Ardsley, Leeds. The catalogue is organised around a set of broad departments that cover both the raw materials used by florists and the finished pieces bought for homes and events.

Artificial flowers and greenery

The artificial flower range is the largest block of the catalogue. It is divided by flower type, with dedicated sections for roses, hydrangea, peony, orchid, lily, gerbera and blossom, alongside potted flowers and potted greenery. Beyond single stems, the range includes floral sprays, bouquets, bushes and bundles, bridal and bridesmaid flowers, wedding flowers and ready-made artificial flower arrangements. A separate essentials section covers fashion flowers, artificial fruit and vegetables, wreaths and garlands, floral branches and flower wall panels.

Artificial greenery is treated as its own department, with stems and sprays, potted plants, artificial leaves, grasses, bushes and bundles, UV-resistant lines, decorative greenery, greenery branches, artificial trees and topiary, and green wall panels.

Floristry supplies and working materials

For florists and event makers, the supplies section gathers the consumables and structural items used to build arrangements. It includes boxes, bags and living vases, with hand-tie bags, hat boxes, flower boxes and flower sleeves; floral foam in bricks, shapes, letters, tributes and wedding bouquet form; and paper and cellophane lines such as florist cellophane, tissue paper, paper rolls, crepe paper and fabric rolls.

Ribbons and bows form another group, covering deco web ribbon, cords and string, curling ribbon, grosgrain, jute, lace and organza ribbons. The catalogue also lists vase fillers such as decorative stones, gravel and sand; baskets including basket trays, trug baskets, floristry baskets, hanging baskets and decorative baskets; floristry wire and frames; wreath rings and hooks; and dried and preserved materials such as bark and wood, dried fruit, grass and moss, pine cones, pods and seed heads, raffia and sisal, sticks, branches and canes, and wreaths. Display pieces, tools and adhesives, floristry cards, flower and plant care products, and funeral and memorial picks and decorative accessories complete this area.
