Celebrity Furniture: upholstery and recliner manufacturing in Huthwaite

Celebrity Furniture is the trading name of Celebrity Motion Furniture Ltd, a manufacturer based on Common Road in Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire. The company describes itself as having produced quality furniture for more than 30 years and presents itself as one of the UK's leading makers of riser recliner and reclining chairs. Its catalogue is organised around upholstery, beds and bedroom furniture, dining and living ranges, home office pieces and accessories.

Fabric and leather upholstery

The upholstery side of the business is split into two parallel collections, one in fabric and one in leather, each following the same structure of models and functions.

• Three-seater and two-seater sofas in fixed, manual recliner and power recliner versions
• Chairs, including manual recliners, power recliners and riser recliners
• Cloud Zero riser recliners in both fabric and leather
• Footstools and upholstery accessories

Riser recliners and Cloud Zero riser recliners therefore sit alongside conventional sofas and armchairs rather than forming a separate line.

Named fabric and leather ranges

Both the fabric and leather collections are grouped into named ranges: Ashfield, Canterbury, Farndon, Hollingwell, Newstead, Sandhurst, Southwell, Westbury and Woburn, with Woburn also offered in a legged version. The same range names recur across the two materials, which allows a model to be specified in either fabric or leather.

Beds, bedroom and other furniture

Beyond upholstery, the catalogue covers divan beds, bedsteads, mattresses, electric beds and headboards, with beds organised by range and by brand. There are also fabric and leather ottoman bedframes, bedroom furniture and bedroom ranges, children's furniture, dining and living ranges, carpets and home office furniture.

Features highlighted in the collection

The site groups a series of technical and comfort features under its about section: Aquaclean, Cloud Zero, a guarantee, headrest and lumbar support, Mammoth, Smartsense, Zip Speed and what it labels Safety Features and Super Fast Delivery. Replacement parts can be ordered online, and the company provides manuals, a customiser tool, swatch requests and a brochure request service.

How the products reach customers

Celebrity does not present itself as a direct retailer. A 'Find A Retailer' tool directs buyers to stockists, and the site also offers a customiser for configuring pieces. Registered office details place the company at Common Road, Huthwaite, Nottinghamshire, NG17 2JY, registered in England & Wales under company number 4012089 with VAT number GB745878379.
