Right Car operates four dealerships in Beverley, Hull, Grimsby and Louth, presenting itself as the largest independently owned car supermarket in its region. The business launched in May 1999 as a local motor dealership in Beverley and has since expanded into a group that also covers customers from York, Scunthorpe, Doncaster and the surrounding area.

The group states that it holds over 400 used cars in stock at any given time, spanning economical small cars through to luxury saloons and people carriers, including automatic, diesel, hybrid and electric models. Part exchange is accepted on used vehicles, and used car finance is advertised at 12.9% APR.

New car franchises: Renault, Dacia and AION

Several of the dealerships hold manufacturer franchises. Renault and Dacia new cars are offered through the group, and a new AION dealership operates in Beverley. New commercial vehicles are also available via Renault for businesses updating or expanding a fleet. The new-car section of the site covers Renault, Dacia and AION models, including their hybrid and electric ranges and current special offers.

Servicing, MOT testing and repairs

The dealerships run their own service and repair garages and MOT test centres. The published workshop programme is organised by brand and vehicle age:

• Renault servicing for vehicles under three years old and over three years old, with a service plan option, MOT booking, brake disc and pad fitting, cambelt replacement, health checks, and dedicated electric and Renault Sport lines.
• Dacia servicing for vehicles under three years old and over four years old, with service plan, MOT booking, brake and cambelt work, and the Dacia ZEN warranty.
• Ford servicing, including MOT tests, Ford Owner Services, Motorcraft repairs, Ford EasyPay and Ford van servicing.
• Renault van servicing and MOT testing, plus Renault service offers.
• Servicing for other makes and models beyond the franchised brands.

Finance, Motability and additional services

Beyond vehicle sales, the group lists finance, Motability (for Renault and Dacia), a free valuation service for selling a car, a price promise, distance selling and warranty provision. A parts and trade operation also appears in the site's service menu. Under the Right Car umbrella the group references related operations named 1st Car Motors, Right Care Mobility and Robspeed Motorcycles.

The four Right Car sites are in Hull (Clough Road), Beverley (Beck View Road), Grimsby (West Coates Road) and Louth (North Holme Road). A further site trading as My 1st Motorcar is listed on Cleveland Street in Hull, with its own telephone number and email address.
