Handy Electric Pro is a local team of qualified electricians and handymen working with homes and small businesses in Hounslow and the surrounding areas of West and South West London. Its stated approach centres on tidy, safe and punctual work, with honest pricing and certification issued on completion. The team describes itself as available around the clock to keep homes and workplaces running.

Accreditations and regulatory compliance

The company lists a set of registrations and standards that underpin its electrical work:

• NAPIT Registered Member, a nationally recognised scheme confirming competence, insurance and compliance with current electrical regulations.
• ECS / JIB certified operatives: each team member holds a current ECS card issued by the Electrotechnical Certification Scheme and the Joint Industry Board, confirming up-to-date qualifications and ongoing training.
• Compliance with BS 7671:2018, the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations, the current UK standard for electrical installation work.
• Part P Building Regulations self-certifying contractor status, meaning notifiable electrical work is notified and self-certified without additional local authority notification fees for the customer.
• Full public liability insurance covering work from the moment the team arrives on site.

Electrical installation and consumer units

The installation side of the business covers light fixtures including pendant and chandelier fittings, new circuit installation, changes to power sockets and switches, electric cooker and oven installation, and extractor fans. Related work includes upgrading consumer units, replacing fuse boards and installing circuit protection.

Fault finding, inspection and testing

For breakdowns, the team offers fault diagnosis, emergency electrical repair and power restoration. Its inspection and testing line includes landlord certification with EIC and EICR documents, PAT testing and general safety compliance checks.

Security, fire safety and handyman tasks

Beyond wiring, Handy Electric Pro installs electrical security systems such as Ring doorbells and indoor, outdoor or spotlight CCTV cameras. On the fire safety side it fits smoke alarms, heat alarms, interlinked alarm systems, commercial fire alarms and carbon monoxide detectors.
