ND Aquatics Ltd

Custom aquarium manufacturing in Hertford

ND Aquatics Ltd is a manufacturer of custom aquariums based in Hertford, where it also operates a showroom open to the public. The company states that it focuses on quality and customer satisfaction, and that it draws on more than 15 years of experience to supply aquariums at what it describes as competitive prices. Its production relies on high-tech glass cutting and assembly equipment.

The range covers both standard and bespoke aquariums supplied with cabinets. Tanks are made from float glass that, according to the company, exceeds all safety requirements. Assembly includes sliding condensation covers and gluing with high modulus aquarium silicone.

Aquarium formats and cabinet options

The catalogue is organised around several tank types and cabinet finishes:

• Standard glass tanks.
• Tank, cabinet and hood sets.
• Sump tanks and top-up systems.
• Braceless and rimless aquariums.
• High gloss cabinets.
• Metal framed cabinets.
• A budget range of aquariums.
• On-site builds.

The site also includes a section on aquarium cabinet colour choices, allowing the cabinet finish to be selected as part of the configuration.

Vivariums and accessories

Beyond aquariums, ND Aquatics manufactures vivariums, which have their own section in the catalogue alongside new products. The company also maintains an accessories section and galleries covering aquariums, vivariums and installations for its customers.

Showroom and direct contact

The Hertford showroom is presented as the point where customers can see the products in person. The company asks visitors to book an appointment for Saturday visits to ensure availability due to demand. The showroom can be reached by telephone, and enquiries are also handled by email.

Promotion with a specialist fish retailer

At the time of writing, the site advertised a 20% discount at Sims Tropical Fish for customers who purchase an aquarium from ND Aquatics.

Technical and after-sales information

The website publishes technical information, a guarantee policy, delivery details and a set of frequently asked questions, alongside terms and conditions and a privacy policy. These sections sit with the product catalogue and the customer galleries.
