Enigma Titanium Limited

Enigma Titanium: handcrafted titanium bicycles from Sussex

Enigma Titanium Limited is a British bicycle brand that designs and handcrafts titanium frames at its workshop in Sussex. The company states that titanium has been at the heart of Enigma for 20 years and presents itself as one of the few British bicycle brands still manufacturing titanium frames in the UK, with its Signature frames made at that Sussex facility. The owner, Jim Walker, describes the combination of experience, craftsmanship and understanding of titanium as what defines the brand.

Road, gravel, all-road and adventure models

The range is organised around four riding categories: road, gravel, all-road and adventure. Within the gravel segment, the brand has introduced Eremos, a Ready to Ride titanium gravel bike built for speed, control and comfort, with progressive geometry and the ride quality associated with titanium. The catalogue also distinguishes Signature and Ready 2 Ride lines.

Bespoke fitting, frame design and finishing

Beyond complete bicycles, Enigma offers a set of services around customisation and care. These include booking a test ride, fitting and frame design, frame finishing, and repairs and restoration. The fitting and frame design service supports bespoke and custom builds, while frame finishing covers the treatment of the titanium frames produced at the workshop.

Components and accessories under CSIX and Enigma

The brand sells components and accessories through its own shop, grouped into CSIX Components, Enigma Components and Accessories. The CSIX line includes tapered forks for gravel, road, audax and adventure use, a rim brake fork, a carbon seatpost, a CFRP bottle cage and an alloy handlebar. Enigma Components covers items such as a titanium bottle cage, headset spacers, the Turas saddle, bar tape, seat clamps, stems, headsets, a gear hanger, headset bearings and thru axles. The accessories selection lists a cycling cap, a stainless steel thermo flask, water bottles, a musette, a bike tool and a gift card.

Repairs, restoration and dealer network

Alongside new builds, the company provides repairs and restoration for bicycles. It also maintains a dealer network and a where-to-buy section, and counts on ambassadors who represent the brand. The site publishes a blog and news section that addresses topics such as frame materials, including a comparison of titanium, carbon and steel, and the history of the founder in the cycling industry.
