Healys Outlet Store: British Army and NATO surplus trading since 1989

Healys Outlet Store is a family-run retailer of military surplus goods that has been supplying British Army surplus since 1989. The business presents itself as a specialist in British Army, MOD and NATO surplus, and describes its aim as combining surplus stock with a high level of service. Its catalogue is organised as an online shop with prices in pounds sterling and delivery focused on UK mainland orders.

Clothing and footwear from military stocks

The clothing section covers jackets, including parkas, smocks, flight jackets, wet weather and poncho styles, alongside shirts and T-shirts, jumpers, UBACS, trousers, thermals and coveralls. Headwear, insignia, webbing and ceremonial garments complete the apparel offer. Footwear includes combat boots, ammo boots, parade shoes and trainers. The shop also lists garments from Crye Precision in Multicam, such as NSPA Fieldshell 2 soft shell jackets, G4 combat and field trousers, field and combat shirts, and Airflex elbow pads, offered in specific sizes.

Field furniture and camp equipment

A dedicated military furniture range is presented as designed for military personnel and outdoor enthusiasts. It includes British Army wooden trestle folding benches and tables, aluminium folding cot camp beds, canvas director's field chairs, a vintage War Department folding wooden chair, a lightweight wooden folding field table, a canvas fishing chair, a Land Rover canvas chair, a general service folding bench, canvas stools and a US Army folding field hospital bed. Several of these items are attributed to suppliers such as BCB International Ltd, Tools of Coventry TOC Ltd and J & S Franklin Equipment.

Hardware, tools and storage

The hardware catalogue groups boxes and cases, transport and storage items, rackmounts, ammo tins, catering tools, dummy ammunition, tables, benches, chairs, beds and stretchers, and cans and containers. Under tools and equipment the store lists bags, Scapa sniper tape, pick axes, shovels, torque wrenches, ratchet and bungee straps, knives and multi tools, fabric and cloth, and watches and straps. Among the collectable hardware are US Military M6 lockable portable tool boxes from the Second World War, including an MBC example dated 1942 and a Duplex Manufacturing Corporation example dated 1938.
