Interior joinery installation in Glasgow

Feature Firewalls 4 U is a joinery installation business based in Glasgow. Its work is limited to fitting interior timber elements on site: the company states explicitly that it installs joinery but does not manufacture it. The scope of each job is agreed with the client beforehand, and the company presents itself as a practical installation operation rather than a building or manufacturing contractor.

What the company installs

The installation scope covers four main categories of interior joinery:

• Doors and frames: hanging and fitting internal doors, linings and frames to the openings on site.
• Wall panelling: installing timber wall panelling and fitted feature elements to prepared surfaces.
• Trims and finishing: fitting architraves, skirtings and finishing trims to complete the joinery.
• Screens and partitions: setting out and installing timber screens and partition elements where required.

The company frames its work around the materials and surfaces it fits, including timber and panel edges, and invites clients to judge the result on the finish. What is covered on a given job depends on the project and the details supplied in the enquiry.

Installation only, not manufacturing or building work

Feature Firewalls 4 U defines its trade as fitting interior joinery on site. It states that it does not take on building work, manufacturing or anything outside interior and fitted joinery. This positions the business as a specialist subcontractor for the installation phase of a project rather than a supplier of made-to-order joinery or a general building contractor.

How enquiries are handled

The company asks prospective clients to start with an email describing the interior joinery they need installed and where the work is located. It then reviews the scope to assess what the job involves and whether it fits its installation work. Initial contact is handled by email, and the company states that it reads every enquiry and replies by email.
