Flory's Online: solar lighting and garden gifts from a family-run UK shop

Flory's Online is a British family-run online retailer specialising in bespoke garden products. Its catalogue centres on solar lighting for gardens, fences, walls, walkways and sheds, alongside decorative pieces and personalised gifts. The company presents itself as a family-run UK business and cites more than 20,000 five-star reviews on its site.

Solar lighting for fences, walls and walkways

The solar range is organised by installation type rather than by product family. It includes wall plaques, hook-over fence lights, motion-sensor fence lights, stake lights, small solar lights and house number signs. The hook-over fence models are marketed on the basis that they need no screws or drills, and the site offers bundle pricing for buying more than one. Replacement lights and spare parts are sold separately, which suggests the shop expects customers to maintain and extend existing installations.

Personalised memorial and robin-themed pieces

A distinctive part of the collection is a series of robin pot stakes carrying memorial inscriptions. The range includes fixed versions for 'Mum', 'Dad' and 'Husband' with the wording "Loved and missed every day", plus a version the buyer can personalise. The robin motif recurs across the catalogue, from wind spinners to hanging decorations, and the shop frames these items as comfort gifts and memorial tributes. Other personalised options include memory name plaques.

Garden décor beyond lighting

Beyond solar products, the shop stocks plant pot stakes, wall art and signs, wind spinners, suncatchers and wind chimes, bird feeders and brackets, and novelty hanging basket bracket hangers in shapes such as horses, cats, birds and a fisherman. Home décor, ornaments, figurines and mugs also appear in the catalogue. Designs are grouped by theme, including animals and wildlife (robins, dogs and breeds, cats, Highland cow), military and aviation, sports and hobbies, and drinks and bar signs.

Gifting by recipient and occasion

The site is structured heavily around gift buying. Sections are organised for her, for him and for pet lovers, and by occasion and price: weddings and anniversaries, in loving memory and memorial gifts, and price bands under £10, £10–£20 and £20–£30. A Christmas shop covers stocking fillers, gift sets and novelty or funny signs. Smaller extras include socks, keyrings, greetings cards and gift sets. Promotional mechanics visible in the catalogue include a 3-for-2 mix and match offer, a 2-for-£30 mix and match offer, a sale section advertised at up to 50% off, £20 last-chance plaques, white background plaques and an imperfect or seconds category.

Product examples and pricing shown in the catalogue
