west elm UK: modern furniture, décor and a trade programme

west elm UK is the British-facing operation of the west elm home furnishings brand, part of Williams-Sonoma Inc. Its online catalogue covers furniture and decorative pieces for the whole home, organised by room and by style, and it also runs a dedicated programme for trade customers and commercial projects.

Furniture by room

The range is structured around the main living spaces. For the living room the catalogue lists sofas, armchairs, coffee tables, side tables, console tables and entry cabinets, footstools and ottomans, TV stands and media consoles, and bookcases and shelves. Bedroom lines include beds, bedside tables, chests of drawers, benches and mattresses, while dining and kitchen covers dining tables, dining chairs and benches, bar and counter stools, sideboards, bar carts and cabinets. Home office items such as desks and desk chairs are also listed.

Sofas are broken down by size (two to five seats), by material (velvet, fabric, leather and performance fabric) and by named collections including Andes, Haven, Harmony, Axel, Marin, Penn and Kaufman. A bespoke option and an in-stock, ready-to-ship selection sit alongside the standard ranges.

Rugs, curtains, lighting and textiles

Rugs are grouped by category, material and style, with wool, natural and jute, performance and easy-care, and TENCEL options, plus patterned, solid, modern and abstract, Persian-style and shag designs. Curtains and hardware include blackout and sheer curtains with poles and accessories. Lighting spans chandeliers, pendants, flushmounts, table and desk lamps, floor lamps and sconces, with named collections such as Aleena, Bezel, Devon, Florent, Hennings and Iver.

Bed linen covers duvet covers and pillowcases, bedspreads, sheets, blankets and throws, and duvet and pillow inserts, in linen, TENCEL, organic cotton and velvet. The bath section lists bathroom cabinets and hardware, medicine cabinets and mirrors, towels, bath mats and accessories.

Décor, garden and seasonal ranges

Cushions and throws, storage baskets, wall shelves, jewellery storage, vases, decorative objects, picture frames, trays and bookends, art and mirrors, and candles and home fragrance make up the décor offer. Garden furniture includes lounge seating, coffee and side tables, dining pieces, planters, parasols, outdoor cushions and lanterns, with collections such as Porto, Portside, Kos, Catalina and Mara Vista. Kitchen and dining covers dinnerware, cutlery, glassware and barware, table linens and serveware, including the Kaloh, Kanto and Organic collections. A Christmas range and a gifts section organised by price and recipient are also part of the catalogue.

Design help, commercial-grade furniture and trade support

Free one-on-one design appointments are offered across the furniture, rug, lighting, bed linen, bath, décor and garden sections, supported by buying and measuring guides for fabrics and leather, dining table sizing, lighting, rugs and curtains. A Commercial Grade line groups furniture, lighting and garden pieces intended for contract use, covering sofas and armchairs, bedroom, dining room, living room, office and garden categories.

The West Elm Trade programme is aimed at trade clients and includes a sign-in area to shop, featured clients and projects, and a contact channel for the trade team. The trade email address is listed separately in the contact details.
