Rūma

Rūma: curated homeware and outdoor living sold online

Rūma is a British homeware retailer trading through its own website, where it groups its catalogue into four main departments: lighting, furniture, home accents and outdoor living. The range is presented as a curated selection aimed at furnishing and decorating interiors as well as gardens and terraces, and the site also maintains an outlet section for discounted lines.

Lighting

The lighting department covers table lamps, floor lamps, ceiling lights and wall lights, together with lampshades, ceiling light fittings and light bulbs. Within table and floor lamps the catalogue distinguishes bedside table lamp sets and includes pieces from Jenny Worrall and Designers Guild.

Furniture

Furniture spans seating, tables and storage. The listed categories include sofas, accent chairs, dining chairs, stools, benches, pouffes and ottomans, alongside coffee tables, side tables, console tables, bedside tables, desks, dining tables and bar cabinets. Storage is covered by sideboards, chest of drawers, shelf units and furniture sets, and the range extends to office chairs.

Home accents and soft furnishings

The home accents section brings together decorative and practical pieces: mirrors, wall art, clocks, ornaments and statues, bowls and platters, vases, lanterns, planters and hurricanes, as well as faux plants, trees and stems. Storage baskets and storage accessories sit alongside soft furnishings.

Outdoor living

The outdoor range is built around garden furniture and accessories. It includes outdoor seating sets, outdoor dining sets and bistro sets, outdoor chairs and benches, sunloungers, pouffes and soft furnishings for outdoor use. Shade and warmth are addressed through parasols with their covers and bases, pergolas, fire pits, fire pit tables and Cosi fire lanterns. The department also lists outdoor planters, outdoor storage, outdoor lighting, heated soft furnishings, garden furniture covers and outdoor care products.

Inspiration, outlet and buying guides

Beyond the product departments, the site publishes editorial content under an inspiration section, organised by room, colour and current trends, with features such as a guide to lighting a home in autumn and advice on dressing a garden at the end of summer. A blog and a section highlighting new arrivals complement the catalogue. The outlet groups discounted lighting, furniture, outdoor and home accent lines, including outlet table lamps and outdoor seating. The site also offers a parasol and base guide and a gift card option.
