Mail Boxes Etc. UK: parcel delivery, mailboxes and print services

Mail Boxes Etc. UK is a network of post, parcel and print centres with more than 140 locations across the United Kingdom, according to the company's own site. The centres combine courier and shipping services with mailbox rental, virtual office solutions and print and marketing work, aimed at both individuals and businesses.

Worldwide shipping and packing

The company handles the sending of documents and parcels both within the UK and internationally. Its service includes choosing a carrier suited to the parcel, its value and destination, as well as help with packing, tracking and paperwork. The site lists carrier options including Parcelforce, FedEx, UPS and DHL at MBE centres. Packing services are available for standard shipments, and there are specific offerings for student shipping and art shipping.

MBE CoverProtect is a product protection service offered for shipments, presented as a way to ship valuables safely. The company also offers tailored pricing and logistics solutions for businesses.

Auction logistics

One of the more specialised areas is auction logistics. Mail Boxes Etc. offers collection from auction houses and delivery, both for domestic and international auctions. The service is supported by an auction house directory and FAQs, and the company maintains a partnership with Thesaleroom.com. It also has a partnership page aimed at antique dealers.

Mailbox and address services

Under its mailbox solutions, the company rents mailboxes as an alternative to a P.O. Box, and provides personal mailing addresses, student mailing addresses, virtual office addresses and registered company addresses. A mail forwarding service is also available. These services are presented as a way to separate home and business life.

Print and marketing

The print and marketing side covers copying, design, finishing and dissertation binding, as well as leaflets, posters and banners, and business cards. Customers can request a fast print quote or a bespoke print quote from their local team.

Business solutions and other services

For businesses, Mail Boxes Etc. groups together pack and ship, virtual office, registered office, print solutions, ecommerce solutions, MBE CoverProtect, exporting advice, shredding solutions and branded goods. A credit account application is also offered. The company states that it can pack and send items to any accessible postal address worldwide.

Who the services are for

The site identifies several customer groups: students, collectors of fine arts and antiques, small businesses and SMEs, and people buying and selling on eBay, among others. It also states that services can be personalised.
