About Zephyr Tech

Solar and battery storage from Eastbourne

Zephyr Tech Ltd designs and installs solar systems and battery storage for domestic and commercial properties, with Eastbourne and East Sussex as its stated core area. The company presents its offer around cutting energy bills, improving sustainability and future-proofing property, and works through a free-quote process rather than off-the-shelf packages.

The firm was incorporated on 9 October 2023, building on what it describes as prior years of solar expertise. Its registered office is in Hailsham, while its head office and operational base are at The Foundry in the Beacon centre in Eastbourne, where it relocated on 29 June 2026.

Product range

The catalogue is organised into four main lines:

  • Domestic battery storage, including the ZT-2.0 battery and solid-state 15kWh powerwall units.
  • Commercial battery storage, aimed at businesses seeking to optimise energy use and lower costs.
  • Solar systems, including ground-mounted panel installations.
  • Portable solutions, comprising the ZT series portable battery units, foldable solar panels for travel, camping and off-grid use, and a mini ZT wireless powerbank.

The company states that its first installation, a "T-One" powerwall prototype, took place on 16 January 2024, followed by a redesign of that unit in February 2024 to position it as a premium storage product. Commercial solutions were added in May 2024, and larger high-capacity systems for large domestic and industrial clients followed in August 2024.

Installation milestones

Zephyr Tech reports a series of operational steps through 2025 and 2026: a large delivery of equipment for its biggest installation to date in February 2025, a ground-mounted panel and powerwall project in March 2025, and an order for solid-state 15kWh powerwall batteries the same month. The first shipment of those solid-state batteries arrived on 3 April 2026. In November 2025 the company recorded its highest number of installations in a single month.

The installation team has been reinforced with a new head installer, Jake Godfrey, in March 2026, an additional electrician, Connor, in June 2026, and an apprentice in May 2026 as part of a stated effort to develop renewable energy installers. The fleet grew with two more work vans in June 2026 to meet demand across East Sussex.

Commercial partnerships and team

In December 2024 the company formed partnerships with solar installers to extend distribution of its storage products to more customers across the UK. Its team has also grown on the commercial side, with Jake Brown joining in April 2025 to support growth and national awareness, Brooke Coles as marketing assistant in April 2026, and Camille Marquis as IT specialist in June 2026.

Accreditation and consultation process

Zephyr Tech states that it is MCS and NAPIT accredited, with the reference NAP/83337. Prospective customers can book a free, no-obligation call of around 30 minutes to discuss solar and battery options, choosing a phone call or a video call via Microsoft Teams. The company also offers a free quote and, according to its site, a mini ZT wireless powerbank for those requesting a quote.

Promotions and published content

The site advertises a £200 discount on a next 10kWh or 15kWh powerwall battery for newsletter subscribers. It also publishes news articles, including pieces on winter energy savings with the ZT-2.0 battery and on year-round savings from solar and battery systems. Customer feedback is referenced through a Google Reviews section.
