Little Peas, a baby equipment shop in Dunfermline

Little Peas operates a store in Dunfermline dedicated to car seats, prams, pushchairs and other baby products. The shop presents itself as a specialist in car seat advice and stocks what it describes as the biggest and best brands in its field, with shipping across the United Kingdom.

The range is organised around three main blocks: car seats, prams and pushchairs, and a broader section covering home, travel and safety items. The company also runs an outlet sale area and a rewards programme, and publishes a blog alongside its product catalogue.

Car seats across every stage

The car seat catalogue is the most developed part of the offer and is divided by type and by the child's stage of growth. Categories include infant carriers, extended rear-facing seats, high back boosters, rotation seats, multi-stage seats, combination seats, toddler seats and seats suitable from birth. The shop also separates i-Size models, ISOFix-compatible seats and those described as Swedish Plus Tested.

Among the featured products listed at the time of writing were the Axkid Movekid extended rear-facing seat, the Avionaut Stardust 360 rotation seat, the Axkid One 3, the BeSafe Stretch 2, the Axkid Minikid 4 Max and Minikid 4 Pro, the Britax KIDFIX PRO high back booster and the Axkid Up booster. Several of these appeared with reduced prices, including the Movekid, the One 3, the Stretch 2, the Minikid 4 Pro and the Up.

Prams, pushchairs and strollers

The pushchair side of the business covers prams, pushchairs and strollers, with subcategories for three-wheelers, all-terrain models, compact strollers, double strollers and pushchairs, running strollers, travel strollers, tandems, travel systems and twins. The shop also sells pram and pushchair bundles and a separate line of accessories.

One of the bundles highlighted in the catalogue was the iCandy Peach 7 pushchair with accessories, offered at a sale price. Accessories for this area include changing bags, footmuffs, parasols and sunshades, and travel bags.

Home, travel and safety lines

Beyond transport, Little Peas stocks a home, travel and safety section that brings together baby carriers, bedding, bed side cribs, bouncers, rockers and swings, changing mats, clothing, toys, furniture, nursing chairs, high chairs and travel cots.

A dedicated accessories block covers car seat accessories such as baby mirrors, car seat adaptors, car seat bases, seat covers, sunshades and tether straps, alongside the pram and pushchair accessories mentioned above.

Brands on the shelves

The shop lists a defined set of brands it works with: Avionaut, Axkid, Bababing, BabyStyle, Bebe & Beyond, BeSafe, Britax, Cybex, egg, Graco, iCandy, Joie, KneeGuardKids, Mamas & Papas, nuna, Out n About, Oyster, Silver Cross, Thule, Uppababy and Voksi.

Little Peas advertises free UK mainland delivery on orders over £50 and a price match guarantee. It also promotes a discount code, SAVE10, giving an additional 10% off selected products. The company states that it holds five-star reviews on Trustpilot and positions its staff as experts in car seat and pram advice.

Orders can be placed through the website, which includes an account area for tracking orders and a checkout process. The shop also maintains an outlet sale section for discounted stock.

Store notices and stock

The site carried a notice about holiday changes at the Dunfermline store, stating that the shop would be fully closed on Sunday 18 October and that the car seat department only would be closed on Thursday 22 October, with normal opening otherwise. It also flagged limited stock on the Axkid Movekid and described the Avionaut Stardust car seat as a new arrival, in stock and ready for next-day dispatch.
