Premier Automotive: Kia, Isuzu and used car sales across Greater Manchester

Premier Automotive Ltd is a car dealer group trading under several names, including Premier Kia, Premier Isuzu, Premier Mitsubishi, Premier Commercial, Premier Kia Van, Premier Select Used Cars and Premier. Its showrooms are concentrated in Greater Manchester, Rochdale and Hyde, and the business covers new car sales, approved used cars, aftersales, finance and business rental.

The company is registered in England under number 02706646, with its registered address at Colliers Garage, Birch Lane, Dukinfield, Cheshire, SK16 5AP. That Dukinfield site also operates as Kia Manchester.

New car franchises: Kia and Isuzu

The group presents itself as a Kia and Isuzu franchise dealer. Its new car activity is organised around dedicated Kia and Isuzu ranges, with separate sections for new Kia offers and new Isuzu offers, plus a "Premier Latest Offers" area for exclusive promotions.

Within the Kia line-up, the site highlights electric models through a Kia Electric Cars section and Kia Electric Vans, while Isuzu is represented by pick-ups, including an Isuzu Electric Pick Up category. The Kia PBV range, an electric van line, is also listed; the Dukinfield showroom was indicated as the place to view and test drive the new Kia PBV Electric Van every Sunday.

Approved used cars and Premier Select

Used vehicles are sold through an approved used programme and through Premier Select Used Cars. The stock search allows filtering by make, model, fuel type and price, with makes ranging from Audi, BMW, Citroën, Dacia, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Hyundai, Isuzu, Kia, Mazda, MG, Mini, Nissan, Peugeot, Porsche, Renault, Seat, Skoda, Suzuki, Toyota, Vauxhall, Volkswagen and Volvo.

Fuel categories in the search include diesel, diesel/mhev, electric, hybrid, hybrid electric, petrol and petrol/mhev. Among the featured approved used cars listed at the time of writing were a 2024 Kia Sportage 1.6 GT-Line ISG MHEV hybrid at £23,799, a 2015 Kia Picanto 1.2 4 ISG at £6,999, a 2021 Kia Soul First Edition electric at £12,999, a 2022 Vauxhall Mokka SRi Premium electric at £12,999, a 2019 Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dCi N-Connecta DCT at £11,299, a 2026 Kia Sportage 1.6 GT-Line S hybrid at £37,999, a 2019 Kia Ceed 1.6 GT ISG at £13,699 and a 2019 Kia XCeed 1.4 First Edition ISG at £11,999. Monthly finance examples accompanied each listing.

The company also explains how it describes a used car as "One Registered Keeper" on the V5 registration document: the vehicle may have had more than one driver, and the single keeper may have been a company, fleet operator or rental operator. Its own registered vehicles may have been used for demonstration, loan, rental or staff purposes.

Aftersales, finance and business services

Beyond vehicle sales, the group lists aftersales, finance and a sell-your-car service. It also offers business car rental and a Motability section, including information about the scheme and Motability offers.

On finance, Premier Automotive Ltd states it is an appointed representative of ITC Compliance Limited, authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (registration number 313486). Permitted activities include advising on and arranging general insurance contracts and acting as a credit broker rather than a lender. The company introduces customers to a limited number of finance providers, does not charge a fee for its consumer credit services and receives commission from lenders, which it says is disclosed during the sales process. Finance applications are subject to status and terms, available to UK residents aged 18 or over, and guarantees may be required.
