UK Worktops Direct

UK Worktops Direct: bespoke worksurfaces supplied and fitted across the UK

UK Worktops Direct Ltd is a supplier and installer of kitchen and bathroom worksurfaces operating under the UK Worktops Direct™ name. The company states a combined 30 years of experience in the kitchen and bathroom industries, and describes its activity as the supply and fitting of premium branded and more affordable unbranded surfaces for both domestic and commercial customers.

Its head office is registered at 33 Exchange Street, Driffield, East Yorkshire, YO25 6LL, and it presents itself as offering a nationwide service covering all areas of the UK, London and the South included.

Materials and brands in the catalogue

The core of the offer is Corian, with a dedicated section covering its introduction and benefits, available colours, edge profiles, sinks and maintenance guidance. Alongside Corian, the company lists quartz and granite worktops, and names Compac, Silestone and Cimstone among the premium branded surfaces it offers. It also positions non-branded alternatives for customers working to a tighter budget.

• Corian worktops, including colour selection and edge profile options
• Quartz worktops
• Granite worktops
• Tristone and Durasein surfaces
• Corian® sinks and Axix® seamless sinks
• Compac, Silestone and Cimstone branded surfaces

From sample to installation

The buying process described on the site includes ordering samples, requesting an online quote or price, and choosing sink and edge details before installation. The company advertises same-day quotes and free samples, and states that all worktops it supplies and installs carry a quality of work guarantee together with a 10 or 15 year manufacturer's warranty.

Domestic and commercial clientele

UK Worktops Direct frames its work as covering both new domestic kitchens and commercial applications such as furnishing large new-build projects. Among the organisations it says it has worked with are the NHS, Costa Coffee, the United States Air Force, KFC, local and regional councils, universities, hotels and spas, and Royal Estates, citing the Queen's residence at Balmoral Castle as a recent example.

Customer feedback

The site reproduces reviews from customers who had Corian surfaces installed in Witchhazel, Sagebrush and Platinum finishes, each rated five stars. The comments refer to the finished worktop, the management of the process from start to finish, communication and the price. These are individual testimonials rather than an aggregate rating.

Commercial terms highlighted by the company

UK Worktops Direct presents its industry experience and reputation as the basis for passing savings on to customers, and its own material refers to savings of up to 40% and, in a promotional banner, up to 50% off. These figures are the company's own claims rather than independently verified prices.
