Raynesway Blinds

Blinds and shutters made to measure

Raynesway Blinds supplies and fits window coverings in Derby and surrounding areas. Its range includes Venetian, roller, vertical, vision and cellular blinds, plus several shutter styles and awnings. A made-to-measure service is useful when window dimensions, recess depth or opening mechanisms make a standard size unsuitable. The team describes a process of surveying the space, measuring each opening and fitting the selected product. Customers can view examples and arrange a consultation before choosing a finish.

Choosing a window treatment

Venetian blinds allow the angle of the slats to be adjusted for light and privacy, while roller blinds provide a simpler sheet of fabric. Cellular and vision styles have different ways of filtering light. Shutters can suit windows where a more permanent fitted appearance is wanted; the site lists café-style, tier-on-tier, solid, tracked and other configurations. For bathrooms, moisture resistance should be checked. The best fit depends on how the window opens, the room’s use, cleaning needs and the amount of light control required.

Survey, quote and installation

The company offers a complimentary survey and quotation before professional installation. At the visit, the installer can assess the frame, reveal, possible obstructions and mounting points. The quote should identify the material, controls, fitting method, any electrical components and the scope of installation. For an awning, consider the wall structure, projection, weather exposure and the space below it. Raynesway also works with offices, where privacy, glare and consistent appearance across many windows can affect the selection.

Derby showroom and contact

Raynesway Blinds states that it grew from Raynesway Interiors, a local supplier and fitter with more than thirty years of history, and now operates under new ownership. Its address is Unit 5, 227 Derby Road, Chaddesden, Derby DE21 6SY. The business serves Derby neighbourhoods and nearby Nottingham areas. A consultation can be requested through the site, by phone at 01332 280585 or via WhatsApp. The portfolio and social channels give examples, but a final colour and fabric choice should be checked in person where possible.
